U.S. Defense Spending Experts Expect A Flat Defense Budget For Fiscal Year 2022.

WASHINGTON — Defense spending experts are suggesting procurement and research spending could take a hit in what is expected to be an effectively flat defense budget for fiscal year 2022.

Reports this week peg the Pentagon’s share of the overall defense budget in the range of $704-$708 billion. That’s in line with the $705 billion the department received as part of the fiscal year 2021, but department officials have claimed anything less than 3-5 percent growth annually amounts to a cut due to inflation.

“If this is the number that’s included in the budget request, we would view it as positive because the Biden Admin would be signaling to Congress that it doesn’t want cuts in defense,” analyst Roman Schweizer of Cowen wrote in a letter to subscribers.

WNU Editor: I do not know where these experts are getting their information. The Biden administration has made it very clear that defense spending is not their priority. Their priority is on Covid-19 relief, and pursuing an economic and social agenda that they were elected on. My prediction. I expect real defense cuts (before inflation) in the next budget request.

The Democrats are no different than they have ever been. They are monkeys. They are monkeys that have graduated up to suing nukes.

Did your state get a bailout? New York got a bailout. Budget Deficit erased.

Did your city get a bailout? San Francisco got a bailout.

That was in the COVID relief bill.

"American elections are being bought up by San Francisco and New York money. Pelosi is the direct liaison to the SF cash and Schumer is the connection to the NY money."

So Americans are willing to take on generational debt, which their grandkids will pay, and inflation, so rich bitches on the Left Coast and Right Coast can live it up.

The Democrat Party has not changed since Tammany Hall. It is a spoils system as taugh in social studies. Only the patina has changed.

Prove me worng.

Challenge accepted.
H. L. Mencken said, “The state — or, to make matters more concrete, the government — consists of a gang of men exactly like you and me. They have, taking one with another, no special talent for the business of government; they have only a talent for getting and holding office. Their principal device to that end is to search out groups who pant and pine for something they can’t get, and to promise to give it to them. Nine times out of ten that promise is worth nothing. The tenth time it is made good by looting ‘A’ to satisfy ‘B’. In other words, government is a broker in pillage, and every election is a sort of advanced auction on stolen goods.”

There I proved you........Oh wait. well shut my mouth

These think tanker wankers are already spinning the fable that defense will be taken care of by the Biden Politburo. Even if Biden's top number is billions less than Trumps budgets, the media message will be "it's all good". It's a foregone conclusion defense gets whacked, Obama did it and the press idolized him. Biden has no idea what's going on, so the extremists he's appointed will do what they tend to do, get extreme on the DOD.

Mencken did not believe in democracy
Mencken supported the Germans and did not want us involved in WWI

You did not have to be of German ancestry in American to see WW1 was a bad idea. Forget that WW1 set up a grudge match. Diplomats across many major powers axis and allied did not want a war and did not think a war would happen. The system failed. Diplomats were taken by surprise.

Add to it that the Serbs shot a reformer prince who who was egalitarian and would have made big changes that most ethnic minorities would have liked, it is not hard to see the war was stupid.

All started by the Serb military and spy agency which looked to be operating outside the control of the Serb government. Kind of like to today with the SIS and the Pak govt.
