Protesters angry that López Obrador has supported politician accused of sexual assault are calling for greater protections for women
Women marching on International Women’s Day have clashed with police at barricades surrounding the National Palace in Mexico City, where officers fired pepper spray after the protesters attempted to tear down a metal wall.
Sixty-two officers and 19 civilians were injured, said Marcela Figueroa, an official of the city’s police agency.
The Mexico City government “categorically denied” using any kind of gas against protesters.

First take away is: They are more concerned with being murdered than with COVID.
Sure 190K people have died, but they were probably comorbid or aged to bein with. They left sooner than expected, but it was not unexpected. It was just another flu season.
Second takeaway is liberals will say this is why we need to let in 300 million people from Latin America. Of course, once we do, we will be Latin America el Norte and women will be murdered and abused at the same rates as south of the border. But liberals cannot think that far ahead.

Wow. Look at that ratio. The officers got battered. That doesn't seem a peaceful protest if the numbers are accurate or some wide ranging chemical was used.. worth following up on this
