How Not To Greet A Foreign Leader Visiting Your Country

The Last Refuge: Biden Administration Conduct Hot Mess of Diplomatic Blunders During Japanese Prime Minister Visit

President Obama was well known for his diplomatic blunders, stumbles and curt demeanor with many foreign dignitaries including Queen Elizabeth II. Unsurprisingly it appears the JoeBama administration is picking up right where Obama left off.

Japanese Prime Minister Joshihide Suga was the first world leader to visit the White House since Biden’s installation, and the poor form began with no-one greeting the head of the Japanese government upon arrival. When you consider the leftist narrative about stopping Asian hate, there is a rather ironic aspect to this visit and snub.

WNU editor: Not meeting the Japanese Prime Minister at the door is odd. That is usually interpreted as a snub.

And it is not proper for the Vice-President to be the first one to meet the the Japanese Prime Minister, which is what happened when the Japanese PM entered the building. Diplomatic etiquette calls for the President to be the first one to meet the Japanese Prime minister.

A burger and fries is what the White House offered to the Japanese PM for lunch (see tweet below). The White House is saying that the Japanese Prime minister requested it. The Japanese Prime Minister's office says no. In the end the Japanese Prime Minister did not eat the burger, and according to PM Suga the two leaders talked mainly about private topics, including their families and life experiences .... Suga skips hamburger, engrossed in conversation with Biden (Japan News).

The presence of vice-President Harris at this lunch was also odd. World leaders in such an informal setting are usually left alone with the exception of their interpreters.

As for the formal meeting itself. Is the President all there? You tell me (see video above).

"And it is not proper for the Vice-President to be the first one to meet the the Japanese Prime Minister,"

It makes sense.

(1) Joe has been in DC for 48 or more years. He was the understudy for the presidency for 8 years. It is not like he did not have time to learn. Maybe he did learn, but he forgot?

(2) Japan is not on the liberals enemies list. If it is, it is not very high on it at all. So purposefully snubbing the Japanese Prime Minister makes no sense form that standpoint.

(3) I think it is a medical issue. They need to dose Joe close enough to the main event, so he can last through it. Obviously, if they dose him too soon, he noticeably fades during the event. If the does him too late, he is not ready, so they send in Kamala.

Kamala did not want to be seen at the door greeting the PM, so she waited inside hiding from telephoto lenses.

Does Joe Biden have dentures? Are we going to see Joe Biden with meth mouth like Hunter? Will we know have a presidential dentists along with the doctor.

It's a snub because he famously liked Trump. That's why the burger. It's a play on trump

These people
I hope the military acts soon and prevents this fallen democracy from deteriorating further than it has

Maybe, but if so, it is a stupid, gratuitous play. Japanese PM lost face. Whereas before the Japanese would play along and make Biden look good senile or nor and liking his policies or not, they may get back at the Kamala-Biden presidency. While they a punctilious about formality, the flip side is Biden needlessly made a bad enemy(ies).

This is not a good thing for Democrats or America. There was a Trump rally in Japan 120 Japanese showed up to support Trump. That is 10 times the number of supporters that line the road for Senile Joe in the US.

Keep trying to dismiss the Winner of the election.
At least the president did not meet in secret and keep secret what was said to an adversary.
Trump insulted allies and befriended dictators. But you focus on lunch offerings? Grow up.

only a misfit would want the military to overthrow an elected government...go to some banana republic and get your wishes and needs fulfilled

He has "sunset syndrome" from dimentia or alzheimers.. Later in the day the worse it gets.
That is why there's no State of the Union address, incredibly. He is not in command. He's just a puppet. You don't see him at night.

CCP, Russia and Iran are going to make their moves simultaneously. Taiwan is done and North Korea will test nukes, maybe worse.

Soft Serve, you're back. You're in fight trim. Got that early to rise to catch the BM thing down.

The United States is a banana republic. China knows it. It is why John Kerry is all back of the bus.

"Chinese put John Kerry at the back of the bus...

Tour bus for Kerry visit - no official vehicle for Climate Clown

Made him wait for officials to meet him"

Very low, low level people get buses. I was on one and I got to set in the front. No all back of the bus.

John (China) Forbes Kerry must have really pissed off the Chinese or they know that America is in a death spiral.

The #CCP hired a bus from a travel company for John Kerry, and no longer arranges for officials at the state councilor level to meet him. How humiliating.

Just a gigolo!

all the gossips moaning at the simple fact
The President, Biden, is doing a lot and we laugh at your calling him this and that when you butt licked the dummy who now lives in Florida. To call Biden this and that is hardly smart in light of what he has and is doing non-stop, and show energy and smarts in so doing. Not by chance, his numbers continue to climb while you wander about looking for chances to make silly remarks

This is not gossip. There are pictures.

Joe and energy should not be sentence the same sentence unless you pout the word "no" in front of the word "energy". The people who are energetic ands nonstop ae all the Leftists in the Kamala administration.

You are a genius as ever Patchcord Ranger.

Days after accepting a phone call from the leader of Taiwan ― which overturned decades of diplomatic protocol and prompted China to lodge an official complaint ― a clearly agitated Trump began griping about Beijing’s decision to devalue its own currency, echoing his campaign claims that China was “raping our country” by hurting the U.S. economy.

He was just warming up.

Read about some of the many times Trump has insulted foreign leaders and countries since he was elected president:
“Shithole Countries”

Trump reportedly slammed people from African countries and Haiti during a meeting on Thursday with lawmakers about immigration protections, alluding that they weren’t wanted in America.

“Why are we having all these people from shithole countries come here?” Trump said in the meeting, sources told multiple media outlets. He later noted that more people from countries like Norway should be allowed to immigrate.

Later that day, the White House didn’t deny Trump had made the comment in a statement after the outburst was made public, instead saying the president would “always fight for the American people” and that he was “fighting for permanent solutions that make our country stronger by welcoming those who can contribute to our society.”

The following day, Trump claimed on Twitter that he hadn’t used those specific words, but Sen. Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) ― who was in the room at the time ― swiftly contradicted him, saying that the president had in fact “said these hate-filled things and he said them repeatedly.”

This went on . and you worry about a burger?

Suga and Biden, who wore masks for their meeting in the state dining room in a visit modified by White House precautions against the coronavirus, are seeking to challenge messaging from Chinese President Xi Jinping that America and democracies in general are on the decline, after the political turmoil and international withdrawal that marked Donald Trump’s presidency.

Suga said democracy, human rights and other shared values were “the very foundation of prosperity of the region and the globe.” It was one of many comments seen as a reference to China, which is increasingly flexing its economic and military strength internationally. Suga, who is seeking to showcase Japan’s security commitments with the United States, Japan’s only treaty ally, told reporters before his talks with Biden that the trip was meant to “reaffirm the new and tight bond between us” as the U.S. and Japan deal with challenges in the region.

The Biden administration calls managing U.S. policies toward China and the Indo-Pacific the primary challenge for the United States. That helped guide Biden’s decision, announced this week, to pull U.S. troops out of Afghanistan and free the administration to focus more on East Asia.

For Biden and Suga, “our approach to China and our shared coordination and cooperation on that front will be part of the discussion,” White House press secretary Jen Psaki said Thursday. The two will discuss other regional security issues, including North Korea’s nuclear program.

Why should we have Obama's diversity visas?

That is how we get jihadis in this country, who go on to murder people like Sayfullo Saipov.

"The United States issued nearly 30,000 visas to people from nations officially designated as sponsors of terrorism over the last decade through the Diversity Visa “lottery” program, the White House said Monday."

Why have people come here who can't speak English or who are not literate in their native language?

Why spend money for French speaking school aged immigrants from Africa over and above that spent on a normal student. We still have high rates of non-graduation in many cities and the government is spending money on French for immigrants.

Why have illiterate immigrants or non English speakers when manufacturing jobs have gone overseas?

5:08, you are just an ass.

"Suga and Biden, who wore masks for their meeting in the state dining room in..."

What I got form that was they talked small talk such as family, because Suga dare not embarrass Demented Joe with discussing policy questions. That is all
