A new quarterly U.S. report has documented a staggering 82% increase in “insider attacks” on Afghan government security forces in the first quarter of 2021, resulting in 115 personnel killed and 39 wounded.

The Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction (SIGAR) reported Thursday to the U.S. Congress that overall Afghan National Defense and Security Forces (ANDSF) casualties also were substantially higher than during the same period last year.

What I find puzzling is that Masood's fighters prevailed over the talibs years ago. And the Russians never overcame their resistance.
Panshir Vally? Wasn't that their land?

The Taliban overcame Masood's fighters. Within 2 months to a year of September 11, 2001 if the US had not intervened Panshir would have been conquered due to attrition. The Tajiks were faced with the Taliban, 500 Al Qaeda troops and Pakistani advisers, spies and paramil1itaries.

When the US leaves Pakistan will increase the presence of their advisers in Afghanistan and also increase supplies.

Pakistan and Iran might bump heads in Western Afghanistan around Herat.

The US should drop aid to zero for Pakistan and Afghanistan, when Kabul falls. Let that shock hit those economies. See if the Chinese can bail them out on top of everything else.

The only hope for the Tajiks now is to come to terms with the Chinese. Keep the road open for the Chinese and keep from being ground to dust by the Chinese or Taliban.

Biden should send Masha to Kabul or Islamabad, since she is so convinced of her greatness. See what trouble that conniving greeey hack can get into.
