Politico: Blinken warns China, Russia about military action
But he stops well short of promising the U.S. would intervene if they launched invasions.
Secretary of State Antony Blinken on Sunday said "it would be serious mistake" for China to strike at Taiwan and expressed "real concerns" about Russia's massing of forces on the border with Ukraine.
In addressing concerns about America's two great Cold War rivals, Blinken stopped short of promising U.S. military intervention — "I'm not going to get into hypotheticals" — but did vow there would be "consequences."

I bet they are pissing their pants .... because they are laughing so hard.
Actually, myself I am scared. Blinken is such a clown. Maybe, if Blinken had been a grunt or a 2nd louie and seen combat for 2 tours and then become a diplomat, he would be wiser and come across as somethin g besides a court jester.

And I was right. Fucking clown.
Been wondering is Russia and China would both launch at the same time. Didn't read it anywhere, but nonetheless many people probably considered it also. So not special at all. So the Beltway people considered it and they will not or cannot do anything about it.
Blinken, a clown, but he has a serious mien as a clown and so has gravitas.
