Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov on Thursday warned that anti-white racism might be building in the United States and said that political correctness "taken to the extreme" would have lamentable consequences.
In an interview with political scientists broadcast on national television, Moscow's top diplomat said Russia had long supported a worldwide trend that "everyone wants to get rid of racism."
"We were pioneers of the movement promoting equal rights of people of any skin color," he said.
But Lavrov stressed it was important "not to switch to the other extreme which we saw during the 'BLM' (Black Lives Matter) events and the aggression against white people, white U.S. citizens."

WNU Editor: Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has always been a close observer of American culture and societal trends. I am not surprised by his remarks.
But it is not only anti-white racism that is becoming more noticeable, but racism and discrimination against Asians is growing, particularly in high education .... Why won’t Biden target anti-Asian discrimination in the Ivy Leagues? (John N. Kennedy, NYPost).
Another US cultural trend that is growing and that bothers many Russians is the growing acceptance of "cancel culture". During the era of the Soviet Union we all had to live under that cloud, and we all hated it, especially this blogger.

I tend not to be too hard on Russia. Most of that country's geographical areas would be just hard to live in. The weather is HARSH. Environment molds us. You can't be a Kunt, like most westerners are, and live in Russia. I expect the Russian attitude to always be a bit hard for western sensibilities.

@WNU here some insight on the ivy league issue
I've studied at an ivy league, and in my class about 20% were Asian. They had perfect scores before arriving and scored all bottom class at the end.
So I'm not sure if all of it is discrimination or an understanding of admissions staff that just scores isn't everything.
BUT.. if it is as I suspect, not racially motivated -- but recognizing a difference in learning/ teaching between western and some Asian nations, with China being perhaps the strongest example(but it's changing, they're becoming more international in their teachings, especially their MBAs) -- they should make it clear why.
My guess is that it's hard to formulate without offending. And more so in a PC world where everyone gets fired for not adhering to the ever changing cult standards.
And for those curious, no the asians and especially not the Chinese were at the top in math, there too they were at the bottom.
We all know of the stories of faked essays and fake SATs.
I know many Chinese and one of them happens to have done exactly that.. helped others for a low sum ($50-200) to get them good grades. But again... thanks to the leftist occultists all conversation, all communication is crippled...as if they're too dumb to see and understand even these immediate consequences of their actions

I have seen some rough looking characters in Beijing, who were hungry and looking for a job and a dusty, rundown district in Beijing, but I felt far safer in Beijing than New York City, Detroit, Saint Louis, Atlanta.
I would feel much safer in China than in the US unless I was a practicing Christian. In which case China is very bad, but The US is catching up and fast.
