Support For Brexit Has Grown In The U.K. Since The 2016 Referendum Due To The Success Of The Vaccine Program

Bloomberg: ‘Hostile’ EU’s Vaccine Spat With U.K. Boosts Support for Brexit

 * The third part of a series about how Brexit changed the U.K.

* One in five Remain voters now want to stay out of the bloc

British voters’ attitudes are hardening against the European Union in the wake of the clashes between London and Brussels over coronavirus vaccines that have marked the 100 days since the U.K. completed its divorce from the bloc.

A new Bloomberg poll shows support for Brexit has grown since the historic 2016 referendum, and almost two-thirds of adults believe that being outside the EU helped the U.K.’s vaccination program to succeed.

In the survey of 2,002 people conducted online by JL Partners for Bloomberg, 67% of respondents said the EU has behaved in a “hostile” way toward Britain in the dispute over vaccine supplies.

Just 13% said the bloc had acted like an “ally and a friend.”

Our vaccination program in the US has been largely successful as well. I remember when Europeans were raking us over the proverbial coals regarding our response to this. When you streamline regulations courtesy of president Trump, put financial incentives in the system, and have people who are in charge of administering and implementing the vaccination program who genuinely care, amazing things can happen!! With that said we can only hope and pray they have not given us a bad vaccine!!

In American there is added incentive to get vaccinated because anyone who is paying attention knows that so called "vaccine passports" are coming meaning those who aren't vaccinated aren't going to be able to conduct basic business.

Does your kid want to attend school? Proof of vaccination will need to be submitted. Does you kid want to play a sport? No proof of vaccination, no play. Have a professional license that requires annual renewal? Along with the annual fee and proof of continuing education proof of vaccination will need to be submitted. Otherwise you will be barred from working in the profession. Want to travel? Proof of vaccination required. Want to get a job? Proof of vaccination will be required. Want to deal with the government in any way? Again, proof of vaccination will be required.

The only viable option for most will be to get vaccinated and pray it is a good vaccine. Oh well, at least the administering of the vaccine is going fabulously well!!

As for BREXIT, I can see the UK really prospering once they are freed from the shackles of that corrupt bureaucracy. Now it is possible that the delayed rollout of the EU vaccination program could be a blessing in disguise if these are faulty vaccines. After all not nearly enough testing was done on these!!
