Belarus President Lukashenka Signs Law That Permits Belarusian Police To Use Firearms Against Demonstrators

RFE: Lukashenka Signs Law Allowing Belarusian Police To Use Firearms Against Demonstrators

MINSK -- Belarus's authoritarian leader Alyaksandr Lukashenka has signed into law legislation that allows police and security forces to shoot at demonstrators.

The law, endorsed by Lukashenka on May 17, frees law enforcement officers from responsibility for damages inflicted on protesters by physical attack, firearms, combatant and special equipment if in such cases the actions are deemed "legal."

The law is part of a broad legislative move approved by lawmakers in April that severely restricts civil rights and the free flow of information amid a crackdown on the country's pro-democracy movement.

The people of the United States are sick and tired of demonstrators, and would welcome similar legislation in the USA. Demonstrators and rioters who seek to create public disorder must be dealt with harshly.

There's a difference between demonstrations and what BLM and Antifa terrorists did.. last time I checked they killed about 25 people, caused 2 billion in damages, countless injured and immeasurable damage to US standing in the World. But don't shoot everyone lol just arrest them and then see Democrat AGs free them all again. You know.. leftist justice ;)

"Demonstrators and rioters who seek to create public disorder must be dealt with harshly unless they are BLM and ANTIFA."

Would not want too be hard against liberals.

Last time I check BLM caused 2 billion dollars of damage. On Capital Hill 2 items were taken, a podium and a laptop. Total value less than $5,000. The theft of the laptop does show Nancy Pelosi did not follow security rules. Speaker Pelosi should be prosecuted. Being the victim of a crime does not make immune to crimes that you yourself commit.

We do not know who took the laptop. The FBI is clueless. They went all the way to Alaska to arrest the wrong person. That person had been at Washington DC that day and took a selfie. They were not in the Capital Hill building. However, the FBI engaged in an illegal search and violated the Alaskan's 4th amendment rights. After all that , they had the wrong person. ANTIFA was in Capital Hill mixed in with the crowd. The Laptop could have been taken by them. We do not know.

President Trump offered extra security to Nancy Pelosi and the Democrat mayor and they turned him down probably because he suggested it. Talk about cutting off your nose to spite your face. Donald Trump should ask Democrats not to jump off a cliff. If he did, they would all promptly jump off.

“It’s time to say enough is enough,” Gates said. “It is time to push back on the ‘big lie.’ We must do this. We must do this as a member of the Republican Party, we must do this as a member of the Board of Supervisors. We need to do this as a country.”

In addition to his comments at the news conference, Gates was one of seven signatories (most of them Republican) to a brutally blunt letter offered in response to questions posed by Arizona state Sen. Karen Fann (R). Fann, as president of the Senate, has been the legislative face of the vote-counting effort that her Republican-led chamber authorized. The questions she posed were apparently inspired by the team leading the audit, a group called Cyber Ninjas, and centered on various vague allegations of improper handling of ballots or deleted material.

The response from Gates and his colleagues is unsparing.

“The Arizona Senate is not acting in good faith, has no intention of learning anything about the November 2020 General Election, [and] is only interested in feeding the various festering conspiracy theories that fuel the fundraising schemes of those pulling your strings,” the letter to Fann reads. “You have rented out the once good name of the Arizona State Senate to grifters and con-artists, who are fundraising hard-earned money from our fellow citizens even as your contractors parade around the Coliseum” — the location of the vote-counting effort — “hunting for bamboo and something they call ‘kinematic artifacts’ while shining purple lights for effect. None of these things are done in a serious audit. The result is that the Arizona Senate is held up to ridicule in every corner of the globe and our democracy is imperiled.”

The FBI is investigating what it describes as a massive scheme to illegally finance Sen. Susan Collins' 2020 re-election bid, Axios has learned.

What's happening: A recently unsealed search warrant application shows the FBI believes a Hawaii defense contractor illegally funneled $150,000 to a pro-Collins super PAC and reimbursed donations to Collins' campaign. There's no indication that Collins or her team were aware of any of it.

Collins helped the contractor at issue, then called Navatek and since renamed the Martin Defense Group, secure an $8 million Navy contract before most of the donations took place.
Former Navatek CEO Martin Kao was indicted last year for allegedly bilking the federal government of millions in coronavirus relief loans.

What they're saying: "The Collins for Senator Campaign had absolutely no knowledge of anything alleged in the warrant," Collins spokesperson Annie Clark told Axios in an emailed statement.

The big picture: Federal prosecutors say Kao used a shell company to funnel $150,000 in Navatek funds to a pro-Collins super PAC called 1820 PAC.

According to the FBI, Kao and his wife set up a sham LLC called the Society for Young Women Scientists and Engineers. Navatek then wrote the LLC a $150,000 check, investigators say, which was passed on to the super PAC.
Government contractors are barred from donating to federal political committees, and investigators suspect the donations were attempts to evade that prohibition.

Investigators say bank records also show that Kao illegally reimbursed family members who donated to Collins' campaign and that Navatek reimbursed some of Kao's colleagues for their contributions.

That's known as a "straw" donation, and it's prohibited by law. The Collins campaign's fundraising solicitations also require donors to certify that they are in fact donating their own funds.

Which ANTIFA or BLM protesters have the police killed?

ANYTIFA shines lasers at police to permanently blind them, They throw heavy objects that can kill. They also throw fire bombs. Nothing like this happened on JAN 6th.

If you had complained about the use of lasers at Portland, you would have a leg to stand on, You didn't. That makes a fuck.
