Thousands voiced their support for Hamas as did those who elected them in the first place how many years on now.

We haven't heard much about this particular conflict in quite awhile. The solution is unchanged. Cut off all aid to the Palestinians or at least make it highly conditional like the kind Israel gets from the US. This will place the parties on a more equal footing. Once the parties are on a more equal footing, the Palestinians will then have incentive to actually negotiate in good faith.

Poster,
The pallys will never do it. They're trapped in their own foolishness.

Agreed!! The "Palestinians" could have easily had peace on whatever terms they wanted for quite some time. They still probably could but as you correctly point out they are trapped in their own foolishness. Perhaps it is ideology which can make smart people dumb. Now if the US and others were to cut off all aid to the Palestinians or at least make it highly conditional like what Israel receives then perhaps they might come to their senses. Even then, probably not.

You have good ideas, but the Pally leadership is just too invested in the 60+ yrs of drama. Things change, nothing stays the same nothing.
