Baghdad, Iraq (CNN)An estimated $150 billion of stolen money has been smuggled out of Iraq in corrupt deals since the US-led invasion of Iraq in 2003, Iraqi President Barham Salih said Sunday.

It's part of the political hell around the world
FYI this is not some corrupt bureaucrat siphoning dollars like the minister intends to portray it. The stolen oil wealth that the government is referring to is the oil being pumped out of the kurdish territories that we support.
Domestic words.
Oil revenue from oil pumped out of Kurdish land should go to the Shia south. What go this started in the 1st place was the Shia having a plurality and then using it to stiff or persecute the Kurd and the Sunni. Sha assholes got the ball rolling. I blame Obama.
Bush was on the phone every day with the Iraqi PM. The PM was squirrelly, because he had lived life on the run under Saddam. So he had no problem with persecuting Sunni. Obama get elected and all he wants to do is get out. Obama practiced benign indifference. Obama comes to power. He ignores the PM. The PM reverts back to form and soon the Sunni VP is under indictment and on the run.
