Euronews: Joe Biden and Vladimir Putin to meet in Geneva on June 16

Joe Biden will meet Vladimir Putin in Geneva next month in their first face-to-face meeting as presidents, the White House has announced.

"The leaders will discuss the full range of pressing issues, as we seek to restore predictability and stability to the US-Russia relationship," White House press secretary Jen Psaki said in a statement.

The meeting will occur on June 16 amid several international gatherings.

It falls days after the G7 meeting in the United Kingdom where Russia is sure to be a topic of discussion among world leaders.

WNU Editor: I expect the conversation(s) will be very businesslike, with both reading from prepared scripts with their advisers present in the room. Expect no private conversations between Biden and Putin.

Can't trust Joe to be alone with Putin with only an interpreter as an escort.

In a way its to bad they can't have a private meeting. It's generally in the private get togethers where rapport is built, common ground is found, and we can iron out differences. President Trump, for all his flaws, actually appears to have taken the time to build relations with powerful world leaders.
even prior to COVID-19 it was said that Trump had good personal relations with Xi of China. Unfortunately most in US political leadership do not take the time or expend the effort to forge the type of relations with powerful world leaders that are going to be necessary.

Prepared remarks, because the staff knows Joe Biden is on the struggle bus.

Товарищи!
Мы знаем, что Байден стар, сумасшедший, ругается, но почему он победил на выборах, если это так и если наш человек Трамп был так хорош (по крайней мере, для нас)?
