COVID mutant variants spawning from out of control outbreaks like in India and Brazil mean "no one is safe" unless vaccine rollouts are widened, it has been warned.
The People's Vaccine Alliance (PVA) - a global coalition of 50 organizations - told The Sun Online about the critical danger the new strains pose if more support isn't given to help vaccinate people worldwide.
It warned under current estimations many developing countries will not hit the necessary levels of vaccination to end the pandemic until 2024.
With a connected world, any new outbreaks or variants could spread to countries which have already vaccinated - and the new mutations may be able to dodge the antibodies given by the jabs.
"This failure puts us all at risk," Anna Marriott, health policy manager at Oxfam, told The Sun Online.

Also notably more than half of the vaccines in Seychelles were Sinovax which is appearing to have very poor effectiveness vs other vaccines.
"Dinovax?" I'm assuming you mean made in/by China. I do recall reading something about those being less effective. Presumably if it was a bio weapon and they made they would have the most effective vaccine as they would have a "leg up" on the competition. So far no world leaders are acting as though they think this is a bio weapon.
As for "herd immunity" this happens when 70 to 90% of a population have been infected by or exposed to a virus and built up antibodies. I don't think we are there yet as this virus is not nearly contagious enough to have spread that far and wide yet. Essentially the "experts" misspoke when they said essentially that if one person in a house gets it everyone in the house will get it. You can't get more contagious than that!! Now they tell us that the new variants are more contagious!! I think my contacts in the medical profession who told me this were simply repeating what higher ups were telling them. As such, they did not lie, however, the higher ups either lied or grossly misjudged and based upon their recommendations America endured one of the most brutal lockdowns in the world and far more lives were wrecked than the virus ever could have. We will be dealing with the repercussions of this one for decades. In contrast, the pandemic will be long over by the end of 2024 UNLESS the "experts" need to hold the specter of "lockdowns" over us for whatever demented reasons they may have.
Perhaps the most serious repercussion of this is China and Russia may have been handed the reigns as the world's top powers without having to even fire a shot. When you shut down whole segments of your economy, you hand your adversaries an unearned victory. At best, this is akin to after Pearl Harbor the United States preparing for war and instead of attacking Japan we attack ourselves!! Then when we refuse to surrender, the government orders more attacks on our people!! The Japanese would have been just as shocked as I'm sure the Chinese and Russians were!! On the other hand, perhaps our "experts" including the cult leader Fauci are agents of China and this was all deliberate. I do think this needs to be investigated and prosecutions are likely warranted but an honest investigation is a good place to start.
