Trump Critic And Congresswomen Liz Cheney Orchestrated Washington Post Op-Ed By All Ten Living Former Defense Secretaries Against Then President Trump

The extraordinary op-ed by former Pentagon chiefs came three days before the Capitol riot, while Trump was refusing to concede the election

Daily Mail: Final nail in Liz's coffin? Cheney 'secretly orchestrated Washington Post op-ed by all ten living former Defense Secretaries - including her father - warning against Trump's efforts to politicize the military', new report claims

 * Liz Cheney organized op-ed by former Defense Secretaries, according to report

* In it, they warned that 'involving the military in election disputes would cross into dangerous territory'

* Op-ed ran in the Washington Post three days before the January 6 Capitol riot

* It said the time for questioning election results 'has passed'

* New Yorker reported on her role and quoted Eric Edelman, a friend of Cheney's

Rep. Liz Cheney secretly masterminded an extraordinary Washington Post op-ed authored by top military leaders just three days before the January 6 Capitol riot, it has been claimed.

The letter published in the Washington Post contained a stark warning from 10 Defense Secretaries from both parties – and came just three days before the January 6 Capitol riot.

Now, the Wyoming Republican could be within days of losing her elected leadership post amid a clash with Trump that came to a head with his claim that the 2020 election was a 'BIG LIE.'

WNU Editor: Republican voters and their supporters want the Republican party and its leadership to focus on pushing their agenda while opposing Democrat policies and legislation. They are not interested in supporting a senior Republican leader's anti-Trump agenda.

My prediction.

The above report (if true) will be the final straw that will end Rep. Liz Cheney's career in politics. If she should decide to run for re-election (which I doubt), she will be lucky to pull 20% in the primaries next year.

The New Yorker article on Rep. Cheney's involvement in that Washington Post op-ed is here .... Forced to Choose Between Trump’s “Big Lie” and Liz Cheney, the House G.O.P. Chooses the Lie.

Liz Cheney is a carpetbagger. She came by her office due to the name recognition and service of her father. Nonetheless she stands head and shoulders above Chelsea Clinton, which is not saying much, since Chelsea is a no load leech. Liz actually had to run for office and do whatever work congress critter do.

Liz was born in Madison Wisconsin. When Dick Cheney was a congressman did, Did Liz spend more time growing up in the Old Dominion or is Wyoming?

Citing the 10 Living Defense secretaries is an example of the big number logical fallacy.

Go through the 10.

1) How many were acting secretaries and were promoted from within? Would they be described as Beltway or Deep State?

2) How many are Democrats? Would these Democrats Sec Defs ever criticize a Democrat president?

3) How many were fired by Trump and so have an axe to grind?

4) Then there is daddy Sec Def.

Logically speaking just citing 10 secretaries is a shallow, disingenuous argument.

Various Sec Defs are citing Lafayette Square and the election. Sorry not working, BLM and ANTIFA are tearing apart the country and they want to talk about Lafayette Square. ANTIFA has death threats against a very liberal Portland Mayor.

- Which one of those wonderful Sec Defs won a war or defeated an insurgency?
- Which one had no cost overruns in big ticket items?
- Which ones were responsible for the hypersonic missile gap?

We are not winning in Afghanistan. Okay, Alright. The political establishment does not want to face Pakistan. Sec Def can't do much about other than to to talk to Congress or resign. However we are not wining in Somalia Somalia has no Pakistan problem. We have clear access to Somalia form all sides. And yet?

Al Shabaab is still strong. These Sec Defs are movers and shakers? In the Beltway they are, but Al Shabaab is not shaking in their boots.
