WNU Editor: One set of documents discusses the likely Russian reaction to the ship's passage through Ukrainian waters off the Crimea coast on Wednesday. If true, my gut feeling when I first reported on the reason for this Russia-UK naval confrontation is correct .... it was a coordinated U.K. - U.S. operation to analyze and observe the Russian response to a UK warship transit in Russian waters (link here).

So the big question remains unanswered. Who left these documents at a bus stop? A disgruntled MoD employee? A Russian intel op?

If the reported facts are true then the person who found the documents & then supplied them to the BBC has committed the offence of theft by finding. The BBC staff receiving the documents have committed the offence of handling stolen goods. They should be arrested & investigated. If not, then draw your own conclusions re these documents that are said to contain information on other matters. Keep ducking 🙉
