It is clear we are now dealing with a virus that spreads far more easily - probably more than twice as easily - as the version that emerged in Wuhan at the end of 2019.
The Alpha variant, first identified in Kent, UK, performed a large jump in its ability to transmit.
Now Delta, seen first in India, leapt further still.
This is evolution in action.
So are we doomed to a never-ending parade of new and improved variants that get harder and harder to contain?
Or is there a limit to how much worse coronavirus can become?

WNU Editor: Bottom line. The Covid coronavirus has shown itself to be very good at mutating into more virulent strains.
What this means is that the pandemic probably still has a long way to go before health agencies around the world will declare it over.

The PCR tests are running at way too high cycles.
Please inform yourself, WNU - you should have caught up on this matter a year ago. It has been widely discussed in the scientific community, and I personally have used the test in the lab and can confirm it's a scam to run the cycles that high for a commonly world wide Corona class virus that you can find anywhere even decades before the outbreak. That class of virus has lived with us for millennia. It's ludicrous to use the PCR test this way.
Don't believe me? Check what the inventor of the much used PCR test, Dr. Mullis - the Nobel prize winner who warned the World of Fauci before he died a year before the "outbreak" .. listen to his interviews what he had to say about the cycles and how you could detect anything out of nothing as the amplification levels are exponential. Recommended is 30. They go as high as 48 for covid. That's billions (exponential) too high. It's fraudulent.
Read up on it immediately if you haven't done so.

I'm surprised that Friday night viewing is not the 50s flick "Attack of the 50 Foot Woman ...cuz atomic bomb test and all that. I had thought that people since the 70s, 60s, r 90s were smarter than to watch garbage like it, but Netflix is full of movies such as Mega Python vs. Gatoroid (2011). Percentagewise high school students are dumber now than in the 50s.
