The Hill: Nikki Haley warns Republicans on China: 'If they take Taiwan, it's all over'
Potential 2024 GOP presidential hopeful Nikki Haley sounded the alarm to House conservatives Wednesday that China is hell-bent on world domination — and that Taiwan is ground zero.
In a closed-door meeting with members of the Republican Study Committee (RSC), Haley, who served as former President Trump’s ambassador to the United Nations, said that if China takes control of Taiwan, Beijing will be emboldened to seize other territories around the globe.
The U.S. must take stronger action against China, Haley said, starting with organizing a boycott of the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing with allies like India, Australia, Japan, South Korea and Canada.

Unfortunately Taiwan has always been part of China. Imagine if during the US civil war the southerners ran away to Hawaii and claimed it as their own country? Uncle Sam would have taken it back with fire and brimstone. China’s problem was they were so poor it’s taken them 70 years to be capable of taking it back.
Even though I dint need to see ww3 in my lifetime....I think taking Taiwan is a lot easier said than done...the logistics alone are a nightmare for a country that hasn't had a war in 50 years....no combat experience...this isn't the might of western forces after fighting a grueling 5 year war against the nazis with experience over the pacific and dieppe...and this isn't the English Channel.
Nikki, your children should join the military and fight for Taiwan.
No, it will not be over at all.
Why? Because during this "take over" which it will take more time than we think, America will supply Taiwan of many weapons and...it will happen a boat or a jet will be shot down. This will be an act of war. We know when it begins but we never know how it will finish.
Reckless language by Nikki Haley. If China does take Taiwan, the USA should do nothing except continue to supply Taiwan. After all, Taiwan is considered by the world to be a part of China. If the USA goes to war over Taiwan, it will be a foolish thing to do, which can not really work out well for the USA.
If China take over Taiwan the world would be under its rules just and only for the microchip everyone needs. Thinking otherwise is just wanting to be a slave for China.
We have to put the Wuhan virus and previous theft in trillions aside when it comes to the matter of Taiwan.
They're of Chinese ancestry, but want to live independently. That makes them free men and women and we should support them in that. However, I don't believe the island belonged to them historically. Seems to be a Chinese island they fled to.
And if 1.5bn people want to kill them or take that island by force, you can't really stop them either. It'd be a blood bath on both sides, over what?

And our democracies don't work at the moment. I'm not American but I don't believe the US election was fair and transparent. I saw the Democrats kick the poll watchers out and bring out the ballot boxes in the middle of the night in key battle ground states with no poll watchers or oversight. That was banana republic action and the media went along. It was shameful.
And until we don't have a working democracy (in Europe it's almost as bad as your last election),I don't think it's worthwhile to fight for those - on behalf of those- who committed crimes against democracy, ie the people in the white house right now.
China got us on this issue, so has Russia.
What they've done is show us just how utterly corrupt our leaders are, how ghoulish our media is. How demonic the people in charge are. Look at Cuomo that monster, or Fauci that little pervert rat.. they've both killed tens of thousands among them.
Until we clean our house I say no more foreign interventions because that's how our corrupt leaders keep us distracted and killed and send money to their buddies in defense
