Prosecutors investigating the Trump Organization are expected to bring their first indictments on Thursday, according to people familiar with the probe, charging the company and its chief financial office Allen Weisselberg with tax-related crimes.
It would mark the first criminal charges brought against the former president's company since the Manhattan district attorney's office began its investigation three years ago, according to the Wall Street Journal.
It reported that the defendants including Weisselberg are expected to appear in court on Thursday afternoon.

But in regards to former President Trump. If they had something on the former President it would have been leaked days ago followed with headlines and wall to wall coverage from all the major networks.
Bottom line. Like the Mueller investigation and report. They have nothing.

You do not prosecute a jaywalker, when y0ou should be prosecuting a mugger. Cyrus Vance, who has a dynastic political pedigree has used the vast resources of his office for this.

Four almost five years later I am still waiting for the Left to get Trump.
On Friday the 25th Cyrus Vance announced indictments coming the following Monday. He did so to set the table for the Sunday news shows. That is he was playing politics. Due to Cyrus confidently announcing on Friday I expected a few maybe several Trump associates to be indicted. Maybe Trump himself. I mean a know better than to believe based on the track record of establishment types.
Cyrus is one of the kool kids. He is part of the establishment. His dada was Secretary of State under Carter. He can give substandard or average results and the MSM and Beltway will ooh and ahh.
Being a high flying DA carrying out the establishment's biding is a good gig. He sleeps and easts at 5 star hotels whenever he travels paid by funds seized in court cases.
Comey's daughter works in his office. If the American political establishment is not more corrupt than Moscow, we are going to pass it soon at the speed of light.

Tell me where is prison time for not paying taxes on bonuses assuming it is true?

AOC failed to pay taxes and she did not face prison time. No her mess was scooped up, thrown it not garbage with t kitty litter and the sidewalk power washed.
Without prison time what leverage do they have over him? If they give him prison time and it is unique punishment for the crime it will look like what it is, a political prosecution and sentencing.
Going to prison or not going to prison, he will pay a fine assuming the charges are true. Maybe we will find out that it is unrealized stock options and he does not have to pay taxes until he actually exercises the stock options? It might be complicated otherwise they would have already had that long ago.
Question why is Vance doing the job of the IRS or the New York State Department of Revenue.
If the did not catch it or did not think it illegal, does Vance really have a case?

Cyrus dropped charges on politically connected 20 somethings, who firebombed police vehicles, in NYC. NYC is losing it tax revenue because people are fleeing the violence. Then Vance does this crap. If Vance was 1/2 as good as Meuller and Meuller was a sad sack, then he would have spun the case of to the IRA or NY state department of revenue. But there are not as many or as big of headlines for Vance so he did not. And maybe as much as they want to get Trump they would not touch it with a 10 foot pole because they know there is no9 case.
