China's Foreign Vice-Minister Le Yucheng Says US Must Accept Its Hegemony Is Waning

China’s foreign vice-minister Le Yucheng

Zero Hedge: China Foreign Vice-Minister Says US Must Accept Its Hegemony Is Waning

In the latest exchange of diplomatic barbs between the world's two superpowers, on Friday China’s foreign vice-minister Le Yucheng called on Washington to accept that “American hegemony” is in decline, but insisted it will be difficult to overtake the United States even within a “relatively long period of time”.

The US is still the leading power in terms of strength but its adoption of a cold war mentality and creation of “small clubs” is a sign of ideological decline, Le told media outlet Guancha according to SCMP.

Le make a lot of big lies for deception. That's what dictatorship is: talking of peace as long it is not ready and take over at the good time.

That's true, Jac

One thing I know from years of experience dealing with Chinese

If they can take something they will do so

Only if the reaction is undesirable, eg an equal fighter or someone who could do harm to them they'll talk.

We are still in the talking phase, but the taking phase might start any day now, in fact one might argue that the Wuhan virus and previous theft in the trillions was a way of taking because they knew they could get away with it

And why did they know that?
My guess is all nation states have been sold out by the super rich .. they don't want a war between China and the USA

Think thucydides trap.. they saw it coming decades ago and could prepare accordingly for the upending of US hegemony

And let's face it.. the constitution of the United states that guarantees humans dignity and free speech is in the way of an oligarchy that's taking over.

And some of those oligarchs, as hard as it is to believe, push people in ovens and have sweat shops and forced labour and use organ harvesting facilities.. we are talking a mafia like syndicate. They change laws, they bribe and select politicians for power.

And they seem to be taking over. Democracy is shaky in the next few years if we're 3 don't watch out.

It's not just China
Russia"s oligarchs are pretty hardcore too
So is Saudi Arabia
There's a lot of countries that don't really like democracy and they're run by super wealthy oligarchs who don't accept no for an answer

In order for hegemony to exist in the first place, it's necessary to cultivate a network of powerful allies to back up its policies and aims.

China, like the Nazis before them made the same mistake. Neither did this. (Both being so warm and likable and stuff)

Diplomacy by threats and coercion just doesn't work.
