It never ends.
Iceland’s chief epidemiologist has suggested that some COVID-19 lockdown restrictions may remain in place for as long as fifteen years.
Yes, really. Þórólfur Guðnason, a doctor who serves as the Chief Epidemiologist of the Icelandic Directorate of Health, was quizzed by journalist Esther Hallsdóttir how long the rules should continue.
Guðnason was, “Asked if there is no clear way out of the epidemic, now that measures are being proposed despite vaccinations, and whether we could be on the verge of restrictions over the next five, ten or fifteen years.”
His response was in the affirmative.

I had, yeah had, an uncle, who died a several years back, who had idiopathic vasculitis. The inflammation from the diseases shut down his brain. The only way they could get him up is with prednisone, which was a roller coaster of tweaking the dosage. Meaning you are losing, but you are loosing slowly. Doctors could never figure out what caused it. They checked for various viruses. Perhaps they checked for the usual like Epstein Barr virus. These doctors were not stupid, they merely did not have the proper assays.

I wonder, if my uncle caught some variety of corona. Sixteen percent of colds are supposedly caused by corona pathogens. You catch the sniffles, they go away, and you figured you are cured. Meanwhile the virus is bumping around you body at a low level similar to HIV. Weeks or months later it gains on you and you have vasculitis.
A scientist recently said that COVISD is not a pulmonary disease but a vascular diseases. that is why you have symptoms all over your body. It spreads by droplets or aerosols, but where it does its damages is in the arteries.
Point is corona is endemic and has been 'prolly' since the dawn of agriculture. This variant is a little worse. It is 3X worse than the flu at least for elderly. If we have tissue samples from the last 20 years to test (Sometimes those are kept), we might see various strains of COVID have been culling the sick and elderly since before we were aware of it or tested for it.
My prediction is fewer people are going to die of vasculitis in the future and people will live a few months or few years longer and die of something else like Alzheimers or cancer.
