TOI/ANI: Xi Jinping holds video conference with French, German leaders amid strained ties with EU
BEIJING: Chinese president Xi Jinping on Monday held a virtual summit with French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Angela Merkel amid strained ties with Europe.

Xi knows the way to Europe's heart is more deals. This spat over China's bullying will end the second Germany and France get some big trade deals, better yet it comes at the expense of the Americans.
Agreed. China has also openly declared that the way to conquer the world economically must lead through Europe and foremost through Germany and France, the biggest players there. Only makes sense and, judging from how corrupt the corporate media, academics and politicians have become, my guess is they'll gladly abide.
Realise that the left in Germany the left press, the left academia is just as bad as the fascist left in the United states. In fact, they share history. Much of today's Marxism and school of thought on the radical left comes from Russia and Germany, including the Frankfurt school which was directly exported towards Marxist and class and race struggle and currently is weaponized by the out of control, terrorist aligned left.

If Merkel keeps her promise, PM shakes will step down before Jan 1, 2022.
