Bloomberg: U.S., Taiwan to Talk Chips, Vaccines as Long-Stalled Talks Begin

The U.S. and Taiwan agreed to hold regular talks on issues ranging from technology supply chains to meat imports following their first Trade and Investment Framework Agreement meeting in five years.
The two sides will establish working groups to discuss topics including labor rights and intellectual property, the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative said in a statement following Wednesday’s meeting in Taipei.

China trying to browbeat or threaten two countries from engaging in commerce is part of hybrid warfare. If we cave, we might as will sign surrender documents now.

Also we need to be as rude to Chinese diplomats as they are to us. It should not be the only tool in toolbox, but it should be used and used often.
Of course a vibrant economy and strong military is needed to back it up. Having you supply chain source in China means you cannot have a vibrant economy and strong military.
It does not appear the greedy captains of industry, boobs like Blinken, yes men like Milley and others understand this. Or maybe they do not care so long their life is easy womb to the tomb. A life of luxury and ease until they expire of natural causes.
