A Haitian doctor based in Florida has been arrested and accused of being 'one of the leaders' behind the assassination of Haitian President Jovenel Moïse.
Christian Emmanuel Sanon, 63, who was arrested in Haiti, entered the country last month on a private plane 'with the intention of taking the Haitian presidency,' the National Police said in a statement on Sunday.
He 'is the first person the attackers called' after President Moïse was shot dead early on Wednesday at his Port-au-Prince home, according the National Police.

Pure conjecture, but I think the theory of Occam's Razor applies here. Wherein a group well-heeled, expat Haitians were able to purchase and coordinate a merc mob and kill the Haitian preezy. Somehow managed to keep it under the radar of US, Colombian and Haitian authorities, then pressed the GO button. Without any apparent of plan of action post assassination.

Occam's razor is a fair guess.
As far as where they are going go, why not catch a boat? They in the capital city, Are they not minutes away from a boat or 1/2 hour at the most.
Supposedly one story was they were supposed to kidnap the guy not kill him. If they had planned kidnapping they, needed no exfil. When that plan went to crap and they had no plan B, that was it.
I am still confused. The guy had not stayed beyond his term. Why kill him? Did they object to his policies? They wanted his job so bad they could not wait? As far as I can see there is et no good reason as yet proffered.
It would have been better for the conspirators maybe if they had gone the Aristide method and had the Clintons install them.
