Democrats are only smart enough to know the names of the 50 states and those are the smart ones.

They could drill down to the country level or zip code level. It would tell you more. Mass marketers and political strategists like Dick Morris, Karl Rove or James Carville look well below the state level.

So why all the stories about which states have the worst rates? We ca get to a granular level or level below the state level, The Daily Mail story has a graph showing the county level.

If you look at county election returns for say for Alabama it is not hard to find the piedmont which is a geographical feature. That is you can see ethnic distribution.

Or take South Dakota. There is a red hotspot on South Dakota AND THE GOVERNOR IS RPEUBLICAN! OMG! WE NEED TO BURN THE WITCH!

Yeah sad, but that is how Democrats think. Someone rings a bell and they froth at the mouth.

Looking at the map and I see it is Lyman county. The county had 3,755 in 2010 and has a large Indian reservation. Here is a little pro tip for all you crumb crunching Democrats out there. Reservations can ignore the governor on a great many things.

Democrats should get out more in trumpless America. It is safe for them now. Safe them unless they go into a blue city and do not stay out past 6PM. I have know idea what is going on is SW Missouri or Arkansas. I've been to both states multiple times but do not know enough about rural character, ethnicity or whatever to draw any conclusion. I do see that Forth Smith in Arkansas is not red. The two counties around it are heavily populated and Walmart is the main employer. We are talking white collar.

If you look closer at the country map you can see the major metropolitan areas are red. Red or Blue state the major metros are often democrat controlled for generations. Shouldn't we say it is a Democrat mayor problem?

Look at Kansas Eastern or south eastern Kansas is sparsely populated. Just a few cases could make rates go double digit.

Color coding states or counties can be misleading. But why not? They have lied to us every day for 18 months about COVID.

more bullshit from a know-nothing
It is the medical journalists that show the data in red/blue states, not the Dems, as you suggest.
Your nit picking proves nothing but that you are nit picking. States that had gone Red in the previous election have far worse stats on the virus than states that went Blue in the last election. That is all that is asserted. prove otherwise

"Harris mentions Kinkos and says they’re not accessible in rural America. Kinkos doesn’t even exist anymore and hasn’t for several years. They’re called FedEx Office now."

Harris what a know-nothing dumbass,

is that tidbit of "knowledge" enough to suggest the comparison of RED states versus BLUE states on the virus is wrong? of course not. stupid comment by 11:39

Most journalists are Democrats. They wear it on their sleeves. See Leslie Stahl. Before editing by the staff of 60 minutes, she sounds like what she is.... a complete idiot and down for the struggle Democrat.

Blue population within red states catching COVID do not indict red states, red governors or whatever. They indict Democrats.

Last I checked (I have not checked recently.) those Indians in South Dakota voted Democrat. In fact a senate election was stolen this century by Democrats at a reservation. South Dakota also had big outbreaks surrounding meatpacking plants, where there a lot of immigrants legal and illegal. Meatpacking plants tend to be in blue metro areas.

We know why you do not drill down. You are afraid of what you might see. Plus it is work and you shirk that. Plus adding up zipcode tallies is hard for the mathematically challenged. Greenshades will not do it for you without a fee.

I heard about a out break at a meat packing plant outside of the Dakotas. Seems as though the Mexicans had a birthday party and had 50 or more people there. This was spring 2020. I don't blame them. COVID is not a big killer unless of course you move the goalposts. They are actually good people unlike you.

You should get out more. Maybe you could visit Chaco canyon which has a very long and rich history. Make sure to wear your diapers. You have to travel through an Indian reservation to get there. You wouldn't people to know how scared your are. On the bright side you would have your lunch packed.

PS: Have you ever been to meat packing plant? I've been to a few over the years. I do not have to rely on effete Democrat operatives with a byline for information.

11:45,

It related to the fact that tweets of the day are a catch all for comments. I just wanted others to know that Kamala is dumber than a box of rocks. In other words she is at your level.

Kamala Harris Comes Out of Hiding, Gives Interview, Reminds America Why She Shouldn't Give Interviews

"Harris sat with Soledad O’Brien for a softball interview and couldn’t even handle the slow pitch."

"Kinkos doesn’t even exist anymore and hasn’t for several years. They’re called FedEx Office now."

"In March 2018, FedEx Office announced that it would open 500 stores inside of Walmart locations throughout the U.S"

11:46 a person, who psychologist use as standard for setting the lower limits of human IQ, ridicules people for going to Walmart. Those Walmarts with "Kinkos". Then the idiot votes for a VP who thinks rural Americans live in "Kinkos" deserts. Maybe Kamala and Michelle Obama can get together brainstorm how to get rid of those deserts. Well the dynamic duo will have to solve the deserts being created in San-Fran-SICKO. Democrats have created food and pharmacy deserts there.

Fed Ex bought Kinko in 2004. Kamala never got the memo. Nah, she just runs off at the mouth with anecdotal BullSHIT.

PS: Before you decry my San-Fran-SICKO, have you been there? I have. I remember walking through Golden Gate Park watching my step, so I didn't get stuck by a hypodermic needle. Such is the way Democrats leave each and every city. You should be ashamed of yourself you FUCK!

ording to a report from the Daily Beast's Kelly Weill, one of the Capitol rioters taken into custody by the FBI has chosen to represent herself on charges of multiple counts of violent entry, disruptive conduct, and obstruction of Congress -- and is citing the Bible as part of her defense.

Prosecutors maintain that Pauline Bauer, owner of a Pennsylvania pizza parlor, took part in the Jan 6th insurrection and reportedly told Capitol police "bring Nancy Pelosi out here now… we want to hang that f*cking b*tch."

Weill reports that Bauer is using a sovereign citizen defense -- saying she doesn't recognize the laws of the U.S. government -- and that she is operating under "divine guidance."

According to the report, "Prosecutors allege that Bauer tried organizing buses to transport people to D.C. for a rally that preceded the riot, and that while in the Capitol rotunda she told police that she wanted to kill House Speaker Nancy Pelosi," with Weill adding, "But in what experts describe as an inadvisable legal strategy, Bauer has demanded to represent herself in court, appeared to threaten a court clerk with prison time, and declared herself a 'self-governed individual' with special legal privileges."

In a Zoom appearance before the court, Bauer told the judge, "I am here by special divine appearance, a living soul," before adding, "I do not stand under the law. Under Genesis 1, God gave man dominion over the law."

The report goes on to add that, since that time, Bauer last week "... listed a series of strange alternative spellings of her name in a document that she (incorrectly) claimed freed her from some government control."

"Bauer appears to have attempted multiple avenues of sovereign legal strategy. In one recent filing, she appeared to threaten a court clerk with prison time, noting that it would be the penalty for failing to properly log her filings," the Beast's Weill wrote before adding, "Evidence from before and on Jan. 6 appears to show Bauer involved in the day's chaos.

Former President Donald Trump on Sunday widely praised those who attended the Jan. 6 rally that preceded the insurrection at the Capitol, repeatedly using the word “love” to describe the tone of the event.

Echoing his rhetoric about the 2017 white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, Va., Trump said, “These were peaceful people, these were great people.”

Speaking on “Sunday Morning Futures with Maria Bartiromo” on the Fox News Channel, he also said the rally participants were patriots, that some of them were unjustly arrested and jailed, and that a woman who was shot and killed by law enforcement during the insurrection was a great hero.

The remarks reflected recent efforts by Trump and his supporters to cast themselves as the aggrieved parties from the Jan. 6 riot, which left five people dead and others injured — and, for a brief time, halted the wheels of democracy as President-elect Joe Biden’s victory over Trump in the Electoral College was being confirmed by Congress.

Trump’s reference to “great people” was similar to his remarks after the fatal confrontation in Charlottesville. “You had some very bad people in that group,” he said in August 2017. “But you also had people that were very fine people on both sides.”

In his interview with Bartiromo, Trump said those at the events of Jan. 6 were loving people who wanted to save the nation.

“The crowd was unbelievable and I mentioned the word ‘love,’ the love in the air, I’ve never seen anything like it,” he said of his rally on the Ellipse. “That’s why they went to Washington.”

He added: “Too much spirit and faith and love, there was such love at that rally, you had over a million people,” inflating the size of his rally crowd.

After Trump’s speech, the Capitol was invaded by backers of his seeking to disrupt the Electoral College count. On the way in, they battled with police officers; according to the Department of Justice, approximately 140 police officers were assaulted. Hundreds of those who entered the Capitol have been charged with various crimes, including more than 50 who have been charged with using a deadly or dangerous weapon or causing serious bodily injury to an officer.

In the investigation over the January 6 insurrection, the Justice Department this week warned that Donald Trump’s rhetoric could inspire more violence. A court document shows the DOJ suggested Trump's election lies, including that he will be "reinstated" without an election, is used in their legal argument to keep monitoring an accused capitol rioter, who is a Marine Corps veteran. MSNBC legal contributor and trial attorney, Katie Phang, and MSNBC contributor and former Watergate prosecutor, Jill Wine-Banks, join American Voices with Alicia Menendez to discuss what’s at stake for Trump and the defendants as the case heats up.

DJT asked the the Democrat Mayor and Nancy Pelosi to accept troops ahead of January 6th.

Those harpies declined, which leads one to believe they were hoping for violence. They were not sure what would happen, but they were rolling the dice and hoping something happened.

Also at his speech o the 6th Trump explicitly said be peaceful.

By headcount the Capitol Police waved in 40% of the people in the Capitol building. If you see a policeman waving you in, you do not have an intent to trespass.

But hey, crochety old Democrats and logic do not mix well. Especially ones, who think they are educated, but who are not.
