The seven-day average of daily coronavirus cases in the U.S. surpassed the peak seen last summer when the nation didn’t have an authorized Covid-19 vaccine, CDC Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky said Monday, citing data published over the weekend.
U.S. Covid cases, based on a seven-day moving average, reached 72,790 on Friday, according to data compiled by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
That’s higher than the peak in average daily cases seen last summer, when the country was reporting about 68,700 new cases per day, according to the CDC.

Cases are bit the same as deaths.
The ratio of deaths to cases has been trending a lot lower.

I will never believe that the flu is suddenly gone. People don't wear masks in London, but no flu.. right.. and everyone who dies of the flu (about 100,000 per year) are now all covid deaths
and in the media they are propagating this "father of 5 diagnosed of covid and dies".. ok, maybe.. but maybe that guy died of something else... the tests used ALWAYS and reliably produce false positives. this is very very known for the PCR test, yet to this day, hundreds of thousands of hospitals around the world STILL use the test despite what even the inventor (dr. mullis, nobel prize winner) said about his own test "TO NOT USE IT" for the detection of wide viral class families like the corna virus, which has been on Earth for millions of years and is all around us. On your keyboard, on your hands, in your eyes. It's everywhere.. so of course if you test for such a broad class of virii AND then on top you run the PCR test at 40+ cycles (which is aboslutely ridiculous, and I can tell you this for certain as I have used the test myself many times in the lab.. it's a standard test, but known for its unreliability if you do it wrong, ESPECIALLY if you go over 20 cycles.. it's like putting a paper on a photocopy machine and you have a bit of schmutz on that paper.. then you copy it and copy it and copy it about 2^40 times (that is 1,099,511,627,776 copies!!!) and then you look at that billionth+ copy and say "that thing we see on that paper is in fact a fingerprint of Loch Ness, and this proves the loch ness monster is real)
