Former Obama Officials Condemn President Biden's Rapid Withdrawal From Afghanistan

Daily Mail: 'The lesson is that no one should trust the US': Obama defense official tears into Biden's Afghan troop withdrawal and former ambassador calls it a 'handover to the Taliban'

* Former officials condemned Biden's rapid withdrawal from Afghanistan

* The Taliban took a tenth provincial capital on Thursday as they continue push

* David Sedney, a Pentagon official under Obama, said: 'The lesson here is that nobody should trust the United States'

* Afghan government officials are furious they are being abandoned after fighting for 20 years

* And former U.S. ambassador Ryan Crocker agreed: 'This is a handover to the Taliban'

A string of former Obama-era officials on Thursday added their voices to criticism that President Biden has turned his back on the Afghan government, undermining U.S. standing in the world and turning Afghanistan over to the Taliban.

Insurgents have advanced rapidly across the country since Biden announced the withdrawal of all U.S. troops and now control about two thirds of its territory.

The result is urgent appeals from Afghan officials for more to help who feel they have been abandoned after 20 years on the front line of America's war on terror.

David Sedney, former deputy assistant secretary of defense for Afghanistan, Pakistan and Central Asia under President Barack Obama, said the U.S. withdrawal sent a message to allies.

'The lesson here is that nobody should trust the United States, whether it’s Ukraine or Vietnam or Taiwan or any country,' he told Bloomberg.

Finally! The "good press" can no longer ignore the facts.
Yes, our allies are probably thinking about America's reliability ... and that Trump, despite his character, was still a little bit better.

The operation is being condemned because it condemnable. It is a humanitarian disaster in every sense of the word. A demonstration in pure incompetence. Gen. Milley should be fired. SECDEF should be fired. SECSTATE should be fired. DCIA should be fired.

This is what happens when a corrupt, incompetent poser is pushed up to the Presidency.

And this isn't the only dumpster fire this admin has ignited.

Actually, this POS and his ilk are the ones responsible for Afghanistan, and the US soldiers that gave their lives so that these fukkers could live out their globalist wet dreams. They sure do love them neverending wars, and all the chaos and bloodshed they entail.

oh, yes. Sure.

Trump, who during his administration brokered a deal with the Taliban that enshrined a full troop withdrawal date of May 1, said his removal of troops would have been a “conditions-based withdrawal.”

On Thursday, the former president said he “personally had discussions with top Taliban leaders whereby they understood what they were doing now would not be acceptable. It would have been a much different and much more successful withdrawal, and the Taliban understood that better than anyone.”
