Former President Trump Blasts The 'Tragic Mess' Biden Has Left In Afghanistan

Trump's Friday morning statement targeted Biden over a slew of crises facing the US

Daily Mail: 'Do you miss me yet?' Trump tears into Biden's 'broken' border, record crime, inflation and being 'taken advantage of by the rest of the world'

* Trump lashed out at Biden over a wide array of problems facing the US on Friday

* He ended the bombastic statement asking Americans, 'DO YOU MISS ME YET?'

* His criticism comes as increases in inflation, migrant crossings at the southern border and US murder rates set record highs not seen in years

* Gas prices are up an average $1.00 from where they were last year under Trump

* Afghanistan is close to falling to the Taliban after Biden ordered US troops out

Donald Trump is tearing into Joe Biden on Friday morning, blasting the president over the border crisis, rising murder rates and soaring inflation - among other critiques.

'Tragic mess in Afghanistan, a completely open and broken Border, Crime at record levels, oil prices through the roof, inflation rising, and taken advantage of by the entire world—DO YOU MISS ME YET?' the ex-president wrote in a short statement taking aim at his successor.

His comments come a day after Biden's Homeland Security chief Alejandro Mayorkas announced Thursday that Customs and Border Protection (CBP) encountered more than 212,000 migrants along the U.S.-Mexico border in July - a 13 percent increase from June.

WNU Editor: I get it that supporters of President Biden and critics of Trump are trying to blame the former President for what is happening in Afghanistan. The narrative is that he signed a deal with the Taliban.

They of course ignore the inconvenient fact that there were numerous conditions attached to the deal, and President Trump's own remarks that if the Taliban should decide to break the deal, the U.S. withdrawal would be reversed.

My prediction.

The blame game is going to be very intense in the coming days and weeks. But in the end the person who made the final decision to withdraw was President Biden's, even though it was very clear at the time of his announcement that the Taliban were no longer interested in respecting any agreement and were going to implement a military solution to the conflict.

Hmmm Maybe former president Trump is seeing what I am seeing. He either is being set up or is going to be set to take the full brunt of the blame for this situation and he wants to get out in front.

WNU Editor who is very thorough and examines the news from all sides generally while generally not allowing his biases to cloud his judgement will pick up on this. As we all have biases, it is going to be impossible to keep them at bay 100% of the time in our analysis. Trump has been banned from social media and is essentially banished to the internet backwater. As such, very few people will pick up on anything he says.

Predictions that former President Donald Trump will be reinstated continue to fall flat, but about 1 in 10 registered voters continue to believe the former president will be back in the Oval Office before the year's end.

Religious leaders and Trump's supporters have thrown out a number of dates that the former president was expected to return to power and the failure for the prediction to come true prompted some to double down, throwing out new expectations. The most recent theory, peddled by MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell, was that Trump would be back in office "by the morning" of August 13, a date that came to be referred to as Trump's "reinstatement day."

"The morning of August 13 it'll be the talk of the world, going, 'Hurry up! Let's get this election pulled down, let's right the right, let's get these Communists out, you know, that have taken over,'" Lindell told Brannon Howse in early July.

Lindell previously told Steve Bannon that Trump would be back in office "by August," but recently tried to temper expectations about the exact date the former president would be reinstated. He told the Daily Beast that his earlier August prediction was "an estimate at the time" and that the timeline depends on when the Supreme Court takes up the issue.
