Pentagon Tells The White House That They Need To Know Today If They Are Going To Stay In Kabul Pass The August 31 Deadline

Biden, pictured on Monday, will have to decide by Tuesday whether to withdraw from Kabul as planned by August 31 or keep troops there beyond the deadline

Daily Mail: US military say Biden must decide by TUESDAY if he will push back Afghanistan evacuation deadline of August 31 to have enough time to withdraw 6,000 US troops from Kabul

 * The Taliban's spokesman warned there 'will be consequences' if the remaining US troops aren't out by Aug 31

* The US military have told Biden, CNN reported on Monday night, that he has until Tuesday to make a decision whether to stay beyond Aug 31

* But President Joe Biden refused to take questions on the threat hours later, or even address the crisis

* National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan then said it would be down to Biden if troops stay past August 31

* White House Press Secretary then snapped at a reporter who said Americans in Kabul were 'stranded'

* The White House admitted Monday it has no idea how many Americans are still in Afghanistan

* Sullivan said 'many' left without telling the embassy and now there's no reliable tally of how many are there

* As they hunt for the remaining US citizens in Afghanistan, US troops are confined to the airport

* They have been fending off a crowd of some 20,000 desperate Afghans who all want to be on a flight out

* Overnight, the US took 10,400 people out on 28 jets - an average of 371 passengers per flight

* There is a backlog in paperwork that is meaning thousands who are at the airport ready to fly can't get out

* Despite the chaotic approach and consistent lack of answers, the WH is claiming it will get everyone out

Military officials have warned Joe Biden he must decide whether to keep US troops in Afghanistan by Tuesday - otherwise they will miss his August 31 deadline to leave.

CNN reported that the withdrawal decision must come within hours, to give them time to remove all 5,800 US service personnel currently on the ground in Kabul, as well as their equipment and weaponry.

Any decision is likely to be made at the president's daily security briefing, scheduled for 9am EST.

The Democrats may order the US Army out by the 31st August & negotiate the evacuation of the balance of the American civilians after the 31st. Biden is terrified of a Blackhawk Down scenario. Keep the faith baby 🙈
