That picture of the Chinook leaving the embassy is so much like April 1975. I was in boot camp when Saigon fell. So much lives and treasures lost. I lost a cousin in Nam. what a beautiful kid he was. what a waste. But so many Americans worship at the feet of government instead of God. In a couple of years, or maybe even months, we will begin this process all over again. Its as if those who want to save the world, (Read rule the world), have to have young men and women slaughtered as if a sacrifice.
Yes, I am that cynical about government and their Ivy league experts.

PS: Government and their experts are like the parents in the peanuts cartoon. All I hear when they speak is blah blah blah wah wah wah. I guess that makes me Charlie Brown.
