Rwandan Troops Help Mozambique Recapture Key Northern Port Held By ISIS Jihadists

France 24: Rwandan troops help Mozambique recapture key port held by jihadists

Rwandan forces deployed last month to help Mozambique's army battle jihadists said Sunday they had recaptured control of the key northern port of Mocimboa da Praia from the extremist militants.

Force spokesman colonel Ronald Rwivanga confirmed this to AFP, saying "yes (Mocimboa da Praia) has fallen".

Did the Rwandan troops win or did the jihadist merely melt away only to reform later? The Rwandan forces have had quite bit of combat experience this generation. I do not doubt they can fight.
