* Adam Schiff, the chair of the House Intelligence Committee, spoke on Monday as he left a briefing
* He said he does not believe all US citizens and the Afghans who have helped the US forces will be evacuated by Biden's August 31 deadline
* The Taliban's spokesman warned there 'will be consequences' if the remaining US troops aren't out by Aug 31
* The US military have told Biden, CNN reported on Monday night, that he has until Tuesday to make a decision whether to stay beyond Aug 31
* But President Joe Biden refused to take questions on the threat hours later, or even address the crisis
* Schiff said that he is deeply concerned about an ISIS attack on the crowds massing around Kabul airport, and the international troops near them
* Schiff also said he does not believe there has been an intelligence failure because the Biden administration was warned
* National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan then said it would be down to Biden if troops stay past August 31
* White House Press Secretary then snapped at a reporter who said Americans in Kabul were 'stranded'
* The White House admitted Monday it has no idea how many Americans are still in Afghanistan
* Sullivan said 'many' left without telling the embassy and now there's no reliable tally of how many are there
Joe Biden is 'unlikely' to meet his August 31 deadline to evacuate US citizens and their allies from Afghanistan, the chair of the House Intelligence Committee said Monday.
Adam Schiff made the grim prediction after an intelligence briefing Monday evening, as the Taliban rejected a mooted extension to the withdrawal date.
Schiff said a full evacuation was 'possible' but 'very unlikely given the number of Americans who still need to be evacuated, the number of SIV’s, the number of others who are members of the Afghan press, civil society leaders, women leaders.'

If this list is accurate the military needs a large sweep of upper rank officers. We are stuck with the current president[?} and the likes of adam schiff and others.
1. you blokes like America to fail if it is under a president you dislike
2. Biden carry out what Trump began when he said he admired Taliban and made deal to leave. now try this:
President Donald Trump’s anti-immigration agenda.
A photo of Trump’s “impenetrable” wall of rusted steel bollards taken near the San Bernardino National Wildlife Refuge along the Arizona border with Mexico shows large floodgates ripped from their hinges amid piles of debris after days of monsoon rainfall.
The damage caused by the recent rains is the latest in a series of incidents that have exposed flaws in the construction of the wall, which cost U.S. taxpayers–not Mexico, as Trump had repeatedly promised–an estimated $15 billion.
“This is what happens when [the Department of Homeland Security] waives all environmental laws & ignores basic science to put up a political prop,” said Laiken Jordahl of the Center for Biological Diversity on Twitter about the latest damage.
The floodgates are left open during the summer months when heavy rainfall and flash flooding is most likely to occur. Critics of the wall have often cited the gates as evidence that the wall is more a symbol than an effective way to stop migrants from entering the United States illegally.
“If the point of the wall is to keep people out, with all these doors open it’s not going to do that,” Jordahl told an Arizona TV news station in late July.
and yes, Russ...lots of American lives too. and blame that on...? bullshit
Schiff belongs in prison or under a guillotine
You're losing
Truth is hard to deal with isn't it?
AND JUST WHAT DID TRUMP DO? SAID NICE THINGS ABOUT TALIBAN. SAID WE WOULD LEAVE AND DID NOT...FUCKING LOSER.
WASHINGTON, DC – A new poll commissioned by VoteVets shows that American veterans overwhelmingly support President Biden’s withdrawal from Afghanistan, along with all Americans.
When asked, “Do you believe it is time for America to bring troops home from Afghanistan and end the war, or do you believe we need to continue the war in Afghanistan and send more troops in to retake the country from the Taliban?” veterans support the withdrawal by a whopping 63-24 percent margin. That is in-line with findings among registered voters, who support the withdrawal by a 65-22 percent margin, according to the poll.
“Veterans know the cost of war, so it should come as no surprise that they strongly back President Biden’s decision to end the war in Afghanistan,” said Mary Kaszynski, Director of Government Relations for VoteVets. “The military achieved its security mission in Afghanistan a long time ago, when it decimated al Qaeda and brought Osama bin Laden to justice. Veterans strongly believe President Biden is right – it is time to go.”
A lot of attention has rightfully been put on the plight of translators and other Afghan allies, in recent weeks. Overall, when asked if they would welcome Afghan refugees into their own neighborhoods, Americans said they would, by a 46-37 percent margin. A majority of Democrats and Independents would support bringing Afghans into their own neighborhoods. Republicans are out of step with the majority of Americans, saying they would oppose any Afghans settling in their communities (20 percent support, 64 percent oppose).
“The heartbreaking images we’re seeing from Afghanistan have most Americans feeling a sense of responsibility to care for our Afghan allies,” said Kaszynski. “Given how Donald Trump and his radical allies in Congress and right-wing media have riled Republicans up about helping any refugee, this shouldn’t come as a shock that when it comes to doing right by our Afghan allies, Republicans are just not willing to step up in the same way other Americans are.”
The poll was performed by Public Policy Polling, from August 20-21, via landline and text. It polled 668 registered voters and 606 veterans.
The only loser is you.
People are calling it the Biden EFFECT.

That is going to leave a mark. should we say it will leave skidmark or stain on the Democrat Party record?
Biden underwater day 3. It is getting worse. Labor Day will be a time of worry as as family and friends get together and discuss what must be done.
It is seriously bad bro. The USA Today poll is -14 and USA Today is uber-lib. It is worse than the Rasmussen poll by 3 points.
SS DNC Titanic going down baby!
Keep trying, you and your merry little band are inspiring for all the wrong reasons!
Fred you don't remember what you've said before, at least tell your merry little band, they need to get their story straight.
