The Biden administration is considering sending economic aid to the Taliban, even as the militants hold mock funerals for American troops and NATO allies to celebrate the end of the 20-year US military intervention in Afghanistan.
US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan told ABC's Good Morning America that the US intends to continue sending health, food and other forms of humanitarian aid to the Afghan people.
He also said that other forms of cash aid, including economic and developmental assistance, would depend on whether the Taliban 'follow through on their commitments' including to allow safe passage for Americans still in Afghanistan.

WNU Editor: Unbelievable. And so much for all that talk only two weeks ago of imposing comprehensive sanctions on Afghanistan. And all of this talk of aid is happening while US allies are being hunted down and executed .... Taliban are on the trail of revenge: Jihadis start hunt for translators as soon as Western troops exit Afghanistan (Daily Mail).

I hope it is a joke. If not, why about giving them more weapons, the atomic bomb, paying all their bill (at the expense of American tax payer, of course), and so on?
The nightmare is growing above any imagination.
As soon as the last American is brought home, the Kabul airport needs to be cratered.
People like Jake are dangerous. They are dangerous to stand next to and they are dangerous not only for individuals but whole societies.
Everything that did not makes sense about past societies such as how could they be that stupid, is crystal clear to me now.
Like how a seaport in France could invite Muslims to intervene, when they had a factional dispute.
Now we are in the upside down, backside foremost 21st century, you could say looking back at Chicago 100 years ago that Al Capone supplied economic aid to the Chicago police.... Keep the faith 🙈
The war of Afghanistan and Iraq was taking at max $185 billion a year. It was a fight to get Democrats in Congress to agree to it.
Now we are going to spend billions that we have to borrow from the Chinese and this pencil necked dweeb, Jake O'Sullivan, has not problem with it?
