What a fool, you're waaaaay to white to get away with it.. and he's straight.. jesus, they'll put him away for good

My recommendation to him and his lawyer: say you are transitioning to another gender post- breakup. Catelyn Jenner got away with killing a man this way. It works. The Media will love him/ her/ they lol

If he did it, then he's guilty of a hellova lot more than just arson. Act of terrorism pure and simple. Not the same scale as 9/11, but right up there. Prison is not enough.

It is of note 3 things:
1) The fact he is a "failed Seal" is emphasized.
2) All evidence against him is hearsay. Also some of the hearsay evidence includes alleged sexual mistreatment of a woman service member.
3) He is declared "crazy"!
This may be true, but it is worth noting.

Kinda weak in the charges against him department at the moment, methinks.

I am inclined to agree with 10:13

"hear him say he was guilty while talking to himself"

How soon did investigators get to potential witness before the rumor mill started?

If they are actually mumbling to themselves, were they actually mentally ill to a degree? Maybe not enough to get off form conviction, but it is still important.

"hear him express extreme disdain for the Navy. "

And? That is a whole lot of people in the military. It is motive, but a weak and suffuse one, which permeates the thinking of 10% to 60% of young enlisted.

"Navy Seal dropout"
Big Deal. SEALs, you want them. You need them. But how many do you need and are they as good as you think? If SEALs are so good how come they have a failure rate and stuff like this happens?

The Death of Green Beret Sergeant Logan Melgar

Just to be clear, IMO when you ace the SEALS for murder, you should do the same to a few admirals and politicians for setting the table.

People should consider that yes SEALS are good warriors, but the "best" you might go down a different track and do more.

I think the Navy has their man, but I have doubts. I don't know, if my doubts are reasonable, but there it is.

"Sailor who 'hated the Navy' accused of destroying $1 billion naval assault ship"

By Monica Showalter

It adds just a little bit of detail, a bucket.

What was in the bucket?

Do E3s or E4s usually carry such items for work like Fire Watch?

Did anyone see inside the bucket?

Showalter is a journalist with a relative homeported in San Diego. So someone likely to be honest?
