Washington Examiner: ‘It was preordained’: State Department blames Trump for US withdrawal from Afghanistan
President Joe Biden had no “viable option” other than to withdraw U.S. forces from Afghanistan, according to a senior State Department official who suggested that former President Donald Trump’s team tied their hands with a flawed agreement with the Taliban.
“It was preordained,” State Department spokesman Ned Price told reporters while defending the withdrawal. “It’s a deal that this administration probably would not have made, certainly not in all the detail. But it’s the deal that we inherited.”

I posted the comment at 10:53. I stand by it. Have you noted the similarities between Ned Price and Jake Sullivan other than one is a dumb blond and the other is a dumb brunette?
Biden keeps saying the US withdrawal is the right thing to do.
He keeps saying it's up to the Afghan govt, the best equipped and trained in the world(his words), to stand and fight.
His DOD keeps saying nothing they can do to further help the Afghan govt.
So they own it and Trump is nothing more than a scapegoat they need because they now realize they caused a catastrophe over there.
