Dr Anthony Fauci has warned of 'some pain and suffering in the future' as coronavirus cases continue to rise, but said that he does not see the need for new lockdowns.
'I don't think we're going to see lockdowns,' Fauci told Jonathan Karl of ABC's This Week on Sunday.
'I think we have enough of the percentage of people in the country – not enough to crush the outbreak – but I believe enough to allow us to not get into the situation we were in last winter.'

Meanwhile here in Chicago we are hosting the world's largest music festival for 2021. Approximately 100,000 guests per day for 4 days at Lollapalooza. Masks virtually non-existent. Precautions have been heavily criticized.
Mayor Lightfoot used the same press conference to threaten the city that more restrictions will be implemented if metrics continue to trend badly...while also defending the decision to host Lollapalooza.
I mean, if we're hosting the largest fest in the world right now... might there be a reason for that? Does the rest of the world know something we don't??? Hmm lol
