Al-Qaeda Leader Ayman al-Zawahiri Appears In New Video Marking The 20th Anniversary Of The September 11, Attacks

Al-Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri appeared in a new video marking the 20th anniversary of the September 11, attacks, months after rumors spread that he was dead

* Ayman al-Zawahiri appears in new video marking 20th anniversary of 9/11 

* Video released on Saturday, according to watchdog SITE Intelligence Group 

* Zawahiri seen praising Al-Qaeda attacks against Russian troops in Syria this year 

* He also noted US military withdrawal from Afghanistan after 20 year war 

* US and Taliban agreed to military withdrawal back in February 2020 

* Security sources in Pakistan and Afghanistan claimed he died last November 

* Known to be in poor health, he was last heard from in a 9/11 anniversary message 

* Zawahiri replaced Osama bin Laden in 2011 but the group's influence has waned 

Al-Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri appeared in a new video marking the 20th anniversary of the September 11 attacks, months after rumors spread that he was dead. 

The SITE Intelligence Group that monitors jihadist websites said the video was released Saturday. 

In it, al-Zawahiri said that 'Jerusalem Will Never be Judaized,' and praised Al-Qaeda attacks including one that targeted Russian troops in Syria in January.

I look at that face and think "Look at this clown". Then I expand my horizons and consider how many of these nut jobs are out there. What a loony part of the planet.
