British Prime Minister Boris Johnson Admits Intelligence Did Warn That The Taliban Would 'Seize Kabul Very Fast'

Prime Minister Boris Johnson defended President Biden's handling of the Afghanistan withdrawal in an interview that aired on NBC Tuesday

* The Prime Minister said Washington was entitled to believe 'enough is enough' 

* But Johnson did admit the pullout could 'maybe' have been handled better 

* The chaotic withdrawal last month allowed a swift Islamic extremist takeover 

* Johnson defended Biden's handling of the crisis and dismissed reports that he was left hanging for 36 hours without word from Biden as Kabul collapsed

* Johnson and Biden are slated to meet at the White House Tuesday afternoon 

UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson defended the US decision to abandon Afghanistan to the Taliban today as he prepared to meet President Joe Biden for talks at the White House. 

Johnson admitted on that intelligence reports warned Afghanistan's capital could 'collapse very fast' to the Taliban amid a withdrawal of western forces, despite Biden stating shortly after the insurgent group's takeover that it caught the intelligence community by surprise.

WNU Editor: Boris Johnson was not the only one who was warned on what would happen in Afghanistan .... Bob Woodward claims that Sec of State Blinken and Defense Sec Austin both warned Biden in March to slow down Afghanistan withdrawal but the president ignored them (Daily Mail).
