Washington Post: Corporate boards, consulting, speaking fees: How U.S. generals thrived after Afghanistan
When Stanley A. McChrystal was the top general in Afghanistan, he would ask his troops a question: “If I told you that you weren’t going home until we win — what would you do differently?”
McChrystal recalls that question in his 2015 management manual, “Team of Teams: New Rules of Engagement for a Complex World,” which says his wartime leadership techniques can guide organizations far from the battlefield toward “successful mission completion.”
The failure of the American mission in Afghanistan became deadly apparent last month when the Afghan army collapsed as the Taliban took control.
But the generals who led the mission — including McChrystal, who sought and supervised the 2009 American troop surge — have thrived in the private sector since leaving the war. They have amassed influence within businesses, at universities and in think tanks, in some cases selling their experience in a conflict that killed an estimated 176,000 people, cost the United States more than $2 trillion and concluded with the restoration of Taliban rule.

Old Joe and the generals love their ice-cream.
You know how when you play monopoly at one point there's no real chance anymore to keep up with the bank, whichever the winning bank/player is?
That's what we are living through at the moment. The endstage of capitalism.
And in fact the inventor of the monopoly game created the game to teach everyone why capitalism doesn't work
He misunderstood, to his disgust, the human psyche. Even if your ods are astronomical to be among the winners at the game of capitalism, they still wanted to play his game and it became a success
Fast forward a few decades and most people have realized we are ending the end. What the new game will look like us unclear
The world economic forum, Biden, Johnson, Trudeau, Merkel and other lockdown enthusiasts, see big big banks and big big business keep on running the game.
And so you don't reject this game, where you no longer are a participant with any chance to win or own meaningful property, they'll want to give you a little bit playing money, say 3000USD/ month
This"money" will be digital, and will come with terms and an expiry date
The rules are embedded in the digital currency, it's fully traceable and combined with the social credit score. Your money is. Not their money. You better understand that.
And it comes with an expiry date so you'll never be able to accumulate wealth. It'll be just enough to survive. And if you say something unapproved or watch or read something unapproved that money can be withheld. Maybe you watched some forbidden news show, suddenly you will no longer get heating either, thanks to the smart homes and smart grid
That's the future they want for us
A future in which we're true slaves, physically, mentally and financially
And they salivate at the thought to enslave us
They also will bring back prima nocte and other neofeudalist trends
If you don't wake up to this, we are fucked. They want it all up and running by 2030 and are well under way.
The lockdowns are part of it
The track and trace Gestapo too
The camps too
The emergency laws have been going on for more than a year already. It's insane.
If you think this is for a virus, keep on following them. If you're awake get ready for the day they move people into those camps. They'll do it slowly to normalise it. They'll start with people you might even agree, but ultimately this is a system they've put in place to do something specific and it's not about your survival. It's about THEIR survival. And to get rid of the resistance to their demonic plans
Victor Davis Hanson asserts that the top brass have bought themselves “Woke Insurance “ at the expense of combat readiness or efficiency. They do this to pad their resumes for post career careers on defense contractor boards.
using the monopoly analogy. when the game is dominated by one player then you turn the board over and start again. what is bringing the game to an end is overbearing coercive government and theft. But all of this is brought on by a populace of sheep who organize government to steal what they feel they can't get by their own hand or what they feel they're owed. When the board is turned over, there shouldn't be any money left to empower the government. and everybody begins to compete based on their personal merits. The losers will be those who are too old to compete.
anyways, Ron
I would say these generals were corrupted by money, but that would absolve them from responsibility by suggesting it's the fault of money. They sold their souls, much like the so called people who "identify" as scientists and will compromise themselves as well, for money. No one is at fault? No one will be demoted, or fired, or held to account?
Kind of puts that letter they all signed in protest to the pullout into perspective, doesn't it?
