US News and World Report: China Weighing Occupation of Former U.S. Air Base at Bagram: Sources
Building on friendly relations Beijing has secured with the new Taliban government in Afghanistan, China is now considering new ways to expand influence and embarrass the U.S.
China is considering deploying military personnel and economic development officials to Bagram airfield, perhaps the single-most prominent symbol of the 20-year U.S. military presence in Afghanistan.
The Chinese military is currently conducting a feasibility study about the effect of sending workers, soldiers and other staff related to its foreign economic investment program known as the Belt and Road Initiative in the coming years to Bagram, according to a source briefed on the study by Chinese military officials, who spoke to U.S. News on the condition of anonymity.

As to what is my take.
Bagram airfield is a multi-billion dollar airport with the necessary infrastructure to make it function. No one is going to let it go to waste. So of course the Chinese and Taliban are going to examine what can be done with it.

If the 'Tollybon' are clever they'll let the Turks & or the Chinese run it for them & train the Afghans up. Can't let all of that American kit & caboodle go to waste. Besides it might come in handy as a Chinese airbase to prevent the Americans launching strikes in the country. Keep ducking 🙉
Of course they do, like the rats they are they want to get boots on the ground and learn from the US on how to set up a military base. Just more theift of intellectual property. Its a nation of followers who are incapable of thinking for themselves and follow the US like the dogs they are.

You can bribe the top Taliban leaders, but you can’t bribe all of the Taliban. The quagmire of Afghanistan is still damp and will suck the Chinese down slowly, but inevitably.
