Taliban Stop Six Planes Carrying American Citizens And Afghan Allies From Leaving Afghanistan Airport

Daily Mail: Taliban STOP six planes carrying American citizens and allies from leaving Afghanistan airport: Top Republican says passengers are being 'held hostage for demands'

* Six planes chartered to evacuate hundreds of people from Afghanistan have been unable to leave for days, a top Republican has said

* An Afghan official at the airport in the northern city of Mazar-e-Sharif said the passengers were Afghans who did not have passports or visas

* But Rep. Michael McCaul of Texas, the top Republican on the U.S. House Foreign Affairs Committee, said that the group included Americans

* He said the passengers were on the planed but the Taliban were not letting them take off, effectively 'holding them hostage'

The Taliban is blocking the take off of at least six planes chartered to evacuate hundreds of people seeking to flee Afghanistan, a top Republican revealed on Sunday.

'We have six airplanes at Mazar Sharif Airport, six airplanes with American citizens on them as I speak, also with these interpreters, and the Taliban is holding them hostage for demands right now,' Representative Michael McCaul of Texas told Fox News Sunday host Chris Wallace.

'The state has cleared these flights and the Taliban will not let them leave the airport,' he detailed.

Bright Boy Jake Sullivan said he wanted to send aid to Afghanistan.

In the meantime thousands of unvetted Afghans were flown out. Many of these are likely terrorists. It seems Americans and our "allies" were moved to the "back of the line" here

Anon 5:21 can opt to ignore or laugh off the problem but that accomplishs nothing. The problem still exists.

If, as I suspect, the Taliban is being held on a tight leash this shouldn't be a major problem in the short term. As for the mid to long term, base betrayal of an "allies" especially western Europe is never a good idea!!

Well, terrorists are terrorists as usual and, cherry on top of the cake, "we want to work with Taliban for fighting terrorists". This insistence on the very wrong way has to be questioned: what if the terrorists are already in this administration?

Jake Sullivan is one of the "cool kids." The leadership class wanted him on this position and worked tirelessly to get him there. I don't expect him to abandon him or his boss or his bosses VP easily.

At some point, they will have to. Our "allies" were complicit in the electoral fraud that got the "cool kids" elected. They know where "the bodies are buried."

As for "democracy" they care not a wit about it. They do know that this botched Afghan withdrawal has hurt them and many of their allies very badly and they will turn on the people who hurt them. They may even help the Russians in order to do so!!

As for Trump, he did nothing to hurt them. All he asked for is for them to treat us as equals to them and fairly contribute to NATO. In contrast, the incompetent withdrawal from Afghanistan has hurt them!!

Do they now regret their inadvised and irrational hatred of former president Trump? Probably not as ideological blindness is a terrible thing!!

They want their bank account opened back up. Then their is the slap in the face of destroyed booty to the tune of billions. Hence the hostages. More pie on biden's face. Kinda feel sorry for his situation, frankly.
The history books are going to be ugly.

Biden mirroring Carter almost to an exact match. Idiotic energy policy, making gas hyper expensive. Idiotic domestic policy resulting in inflation. Idiotic border policy, effecting strains on all systems and enhancing US Covid risk.

Defeat and humiliation in the Middle East.

And now Biden's very own hostage crisis. Right out of the Carter playbook.

Turns out these planes are chartered by the charity group led by Glenn Beck. Which tells me that there's interference/obstruction from the Biden admin with their departure.

Six private charter planes seeking to evacuate 1,600 people—including more than 100 Americans—out of Afghanistan have been grounded by the Taliban amid negotiations with the U.S. State Department, an official with an NGO working on the evacuation told Newsweek.

The would-be passengers have yet to board the planes in the city of Mazar-i-Sharif, which were chartered by the Nazarene Fund and Mercury One charity, both founded by Christian conservative media personality Glenn Beck.

Three other evacuation flights—two on a plane chartered by international development organization Sayara, and one by Goldbelt, Inc., an Alaska Native corporation—set to carry at least 19 Americans and an unspecified number of Afghans have also been grounded by the Taliban awaiting clearance, a second senior NGO official told Newsweek.

Funded entirely with private money, the Mercury One rescue mission chartered six planes—two Airbus 340s and four Boeing 737s—from Kam Air, the largest private Afghan airline, for eight evacuation flights to a Gulf state. The other three flights with Sayora and Goldbelt were also chartered from Kam Air but their intended destination is currently unclear.

Carter is a great man. He came up with the lie Undocumented alien instead of illegal alien.

Never underestimate the intelligence of man with a knack for deception.
