Cases of psychosis have soared over the past two years in England as an increasing number of people experience hallucinations and delusional thinking amid the stresses of the Covid-19 pandemic.
There was a 75% increase in the number of people referred to mental health services for their first suspected episode of psychosis between April 2019 and April 2021, NHS data shows.
The rise continued throughout the summer, with 12,655 referred in July 2021, up 53% from 8,252 in July 2019.

WNU Editor: A few years ago a good friend of mine who works as a social worker told me that his work experience taught him that one out of three people are insane, and if it was not for the rules and laws that societies/religion/and governments impose, this inner insanity would explode into anarchy.
I think the one out of three ratio is too high, but he does have a point.
The pandemic altered a lot of rules, societal understandings, and personal expectations. And many in the past year are reacting very badly to it.

Bari Weiss is fully right.
This has been quite obvious since November, 2016. The election of President Trump sent many fragile sociopaths, autistics, bipolars, chronic depressives, paranoid schizophrenics, generalized anxiety disorder sufferers, gender psychos, eco-mentalists and LGBTQWTFBBQ militants right over the edge.
There's hours of video of them howling at the blue sky, in the depths of their Trump Derangement Syndrome.
She's 100% correct, Stelter is obviously 1 in 3 for smugly trying to imply she is wrong. But are the Stelters of this world insane or simply bad or fascist? Keep ducking 🙈
The UN also announced a year, or two ago "madness is sweeping the globe"
