The test of a Chinese hypersonic missile in August appeared to catch U.S. military officials by surprise, with one person allegedly saying the U.S. had "no idea how they did this."

I wouldn't be to worried those hypersonic missiles can't hit their targets. Likewise China doesn't have enough of them, ultimately no one can defend against nuclear strikes, as we seen in WW2 with the dolittle raid, it just takes one man with an insane idea and nukes get dropped.

Of course. Their missile hits the US and all hell breaks loose.

They already have "hypersonics", which are called ICBMs.

America has a real, capable deterrent. China is not suicidal; this is all so tiresome and lame.
