People are more variable on their opinion of disapproval. They are afraid to commit or afraid to say. So I think disapproval increases in more of a 2 steps forward and one step back way than approval does.
With approval once you lose someone, you lose them. I think you can test this numerically.
If Joe does not get the infrastructure and porkulus bill passed by January 1st, he will be below 40% approval. U
If Biden loses both houses of Congress, he will be in the 10s or 20s.
You can put lipstick on Kamala, but she won't fly. Using child actors to talk about NASA while the border and Afghanistan are a mess, there is another complaint. It is she talked to 12 year olds like they were 4 year olds. She has no clue. A further complaint was she used trained child actors, because she did not want to have another fiasco where a pro-Palestinian student got her in trouble. She wanted a totally predictable environment. People are not impressed.

You have compared Biden with Obama at this point in their presidency. Now compare with Trump at a similar point. And use an objective poll rather than well-known right-leaning Rasmussen.

Are you trying or merely acting the clown for amusement?
First, the RCP tracking average shows the same trend as Rassmussen. You know what an average is and why it is used, right?
Second, what in Rassmussen's methodology do you find objectionable? Is it that they poll Likely voters instead of registered voters or adults? Is it because they only poll Martians, Venusians and Plutonians between the hours of midnight and 6 AM? P{Lease be specific about what is wrong with the poll methods. And put down the bong!
I know for a fact that Biden numbers are down, way down, compared to what they had been. I maintain that Rasmussen is not a reliable source but in fact an average among some ten polling groups would give a more accurate number.
That said; after the election of Trump, this and many other sites were quick to dismiss any and all polls as wrong, misleading, worthless. Now, though, our editor makes a point of giving numbers to dismiss Biden, forgetting that Biden has three more years in office.
85% of journalists are liberal. It affects their coverage. It is no longer arguable that they are liberal. Back in the 90s they would argue. No longer. Look at the tenor of the stores, you can argue it does affect their coverage. Further a Newsweek editor said it was worth 10 or 15 points.
If all the above is true, when Trump says the polls are worthless, he as a valid point.

You think Biden will last 3 years in his present state of decrepitude. If Biden does, he will resemble more the Emperor of Mankind than a thinking person.
If the midterms are bloodbath, I do not see Biden survive politically long after it, He will step down for health reasons, have as stroke or be 25th amendmented out. Kamal will get her bucket list punched and then sail off into the sunset maybe with a hubby and maybe not. wondering, where it all went.
Kamal will be primaried, if she even decides to run. Kamala's handlers will adopt the same strategy as Joe. It will be to hide her for reasons, which will be funny as there will not be a pandemic.
Kamala did the whole indigenous people day thing. It does not score points with me. It does not score points with my immigrant spouse, whenever they will sit up and take notice. It was a complete disaster. Kamala and her handlers have no idea. It is not going to go away in the next 3 years.
