I've always found it interesting that the Northeast heats their homes with oil instead of natural gas. I would guess it was legacy of switching from coal. Back then it made sense to heat with oil over coal and gas was not in the running. Once switched over and the green crazies of the Democrat Party took over, people in the Northeast were trapped and could not switch over to clean, inexpensive natural gas.
The crazies (i.e. Democrats) have made it harder than Hell to build any new pipelines gas or oil.
