The anti-Donald Trump group The Lincoln Project admitted to planting five people carrying tiki torches at a Charlottesville campaign stop by Virginia's Republican candidate for governor on Friday - a political stunt that tried to smear the surging GOP candidate ahead of Tuesday's tight election race.
The Lincoln Project only confessed to the attempt to derail GOP candidate Glenn Youngkin when eagle-eyed reporters identified those participating as operatives within the Virginia Democratic party.

The Lincoln Project is incredibly well funded and has vast support from the media but they do seem to he quite dumb.
McCauliffe may be behind but the margin is/was easily within the cheat margin. Why would the Lincoln Project have needed to get involved at all? Obviously they didn't consult with the McAuliiffe campaign who would've told them to stay out of it.
Will it make a difference? Probably not but it's given team McAuliiffe a headache they didn't need.
This proves that the Lincoln Project is more than anti-Trump. They are anti-Republican or anti-conservative.
All Republicans should freeze them out from all fundraising, donations, conferences and contacts. Lincoln Project people are dishonest.
