Peru has the highest Covid death rate in the world with more than 6,000 per million losing their lives to the deadly virus, according to new figures.
Some 199,632 have died during the pandemic in the country of 32.97million people, nearly doubly the proportion of the next worst affected country (3,256 deaths per million).
The pandemic has had a wildly uneven effect on different countries across the world, with China — where the virus originated — only recording 30 deaths per million people.

Anyone believe Belarus has such a low COVID rate, when surrounded by Poland, Ukraine and Russia?
It is almost like the people of Belarus are not Slavic, have a higher per capita income, or first class medical system.
Bolivia is also a wonder. Is it so different than Peru genetically or in per capita income?
The Netherland with such a high population density is squished between Germany and France and has a different rate. Did they build a wall?

Total BS about China, there death toll was in the millions. Remember all those cancelled phone contracts and crematoriums working overtimefor months? Shutting down there most industrial regions for months? Yeah, lets negotiate with them, so honest.

It seems other reports have confirmed the more deadly covid 20.

I don't believe there is a standard for what caused some of the reported deaths. US deaths reporting is likely impacted by the funding of the hospitals by the biden administration.
