* Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin on Wednesday announced increased payments to help personnel cope with surging house rental prices

* 'This is a readiness issue,' he said after dire warnings of increasing inflation

* Last week, the Department of Labor said prices had risen 6.2 percent in past year

Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin on Wednesday warned that rising prices for housing and food were affecting the readiness of U.S. armed forces.

WNU what do you predict is coming next with inflation? I hear speculation that the official rate is much lower than the actual...any similarities to economic problems in Russia or during S.U. break-up?

The military gets cost of living increases. If they are enough, timely, or how much they miss the mark is debatable.

Cardboard cutout Biden and the socialist democrats fronting him ate to blame. Ned Price and others like him have "used every lever" to bad effect. Ned was speaking about Afghanistan. Using every lever is apt description for the regime's energy policies. Every policy to date was crafter to restrict oil supply and kill the oil industry.

Energy is one of those sectors that sit at the base of the economy. If you have inflation in energy, you will have inflation everywhere.

Sec Def Austin and other generals can complain. So what. It means nothing. It shows they are mental cowards. They may be physically brave, but when it comes to career, they are cowards. In many ways is is harder to be brave with one's career than physically brave. It is a steady slow strain. Still they are cowards. They could use back channels and tell those monkeys in the Biden White House to pull their heads out of their asses and fly right.
