He reliquished power at 10:10 a.m. EDT, leaving Harris in charge of the country for one hour and 25 minutes.

Kamala is no more in charge of the federal government than Joe Biden is. It is Ron Klain or someone else. Kamala gets the bonus prize of a Guinness Book of Records entry as being the first woman in charge. Sad day. There are legions of women more qualified than Kamala.
Anesthesia and dementia do not go well together.
Joe Biden sounded well IMO, when he spoke to the press. However, Biden talked about how he felt, which is pretty easy for a person to do. He di not talk long. He could have rehearsed the very short statement.
I do not have an extensive amount of recording for Biden to establish a baseline. It would be nice to have a substantial library of Biden's statements and run it through a software program for analysis.
He seemed okay to me, but I think long term Biden's Dr. Theodor Morell will do him harm.
