The US threatened to deploy ‘high-impact’ economic measures if a Russian buildup of troops leads to a wider conflict
Joe Biden and Vladimir Putin are due to hold talks “in the near future” after their top diplomats made no apparent progress in Stockholm towards defusing a standoff over Ukraine, amid fears of a Russian invasion.
The US secretary of state, Antony Blinken, and the Russian foreign minister, Sergey Lavrov, opted not to make a joint appearance after trading threats during a 40-minute meeting whose short duration indicated there was little chance of a breakthrough.

The USA had better stop playing with fire. ‘high-impact’ economic measures -- didn't we try that on Japan right before they kicked USA butt at Pearl Harbor in WW2? Don't think it can't happen again.

Everybody knows what's left of Biden's brain lacks intelligence or focus.
The only issue Putin has to worry about, who in DC will call the shots in a crisis/conflict and be able to de-escalate? He doesn't have to consider what happens in continental Europe's capitols.
China being ever more aggressive with Taiwan at the same time Russia with Ukraine has to raise the question if they have formed a military axis and are working jointly to keep the US off balance and unsure where to prepare.
I'm very confident in the Biden talent. He is going to do us a stupidity of which only he knows the secret.
