Of course nothing substantive came from the Zoom chat. Russia could easily roll over the Ukraine to its extreme borders with light organized armed resistance. Most loyal Ukraine troops would quickly surrender. USA & NATO won't risk a nuclear confrontation with a defensive attack on mostly Russian home turf.

On the other hand Russia would face serious downsides to an incursion and long-term holding action. Huge monetary expenses. And what makes you invincible in one locale means you're draining securities from others.
