William Burns laments that Tehran has not been taking negotiations seriously after seventh round of talks produced no breakthroughs
The head of the Central Intelligence Agency said Monday that the United States does not have evidence that Iran has made a decision to weaponize its nuclear program.
The US spy agency “doesn’t see any evidence that Iran’s Supreme Leader [Ali Khamenei] has made a decision to move to weaponize,” CIA Director William Burns told the Wall Street Journal’s annual CEO Council, according to CBS News.
Iran has been accelerating its nuclear enrichment in recent months in what some analysts believe is a negotiation tactic in the ongoing Vienna talks aimed at reviving the multilateral nuclear accord known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, or JCPOA.

So hilarious that the kiss-ass CIA head uses the phrase "Iran’s Supreme Leader" to describe the murderer Khamenei. Fawning over Khamenei won't work Mr. CIA-man, it will just make him shout "Death to America" even louder!

Mr. Hewitt might not have coined the term, but he popularizes it. The Iranians have been caught cheating before. what reason is there to think they changed course.
There is an 800 pound gorilla in the room Billy Burns. It would be the fact that he is carrying water for the Biden administration. I do not expect appointees to be purposefully confrontational with the people, who appointed them, but I do not expect them to sycophantically carry water either and put team ahead of country.
There should be some overlap in interests between team and country. It does not appear as Billy has ventured into that territory. He is a stranger.
